The funny part is that both arent necessarily wrong. There is no actual flavor difference between each fruitloop, but each of your senses contributes to how something tastes, so its entirely possible for the colour to make something taste slightly different

I'm sorry but I agree with Gabriel. It's just marketing, advertising, and a little bit of your mind messing with you to make you believe in different flavours. If someone told me a brown dye cake was chocolate I would be leave it for one bite at least because that's what I expect. If you want a different flavour of froot loop then get apple jacks. They are basically apple cinnamon flavoured froot loop. Also smarties are the candy with the least actual flavor/taste variety and variety in general and it is why I consider it the most boring candy ever.
