Open diffs? Cool video I love how it was planted a couple of times and then jeep comes in and out of frame. Very nice work bud. Love the ZJ too. Are you running 35"s? What long arm kit is that? Looking good dude sorry for all the questions. Great build you in the UK? Spring looks jacked up at 7:14 though. Maybe too large of a spacer in there bro.
All Out Throttle Yes!, there's an old LSD in the rear d35 but it isn't doing much! Basically it's all open diffs even in the transfer case since he still hasn't done a 231 swap and the clutches in the 249 are basically losing their fight with the tires! Thanks for the video critique! ;-) I didn't get much of a chance to set up the shots because all of the passes were improvised, but I did my best! :-) The ZJ (my buddy's btw) is awesome, really capable and flexy, just needs beefier axles to put lockers in. Yep those are 35s on a Rough Country longarm kit. 4.5" of lift with 1" spacers all around I believe. Never noticed the squashed spring, does that mean there isn't enough bumpstop? What should be done? No worries about the questions! Love answering them! :-) No, we are in France, in Toulouse! Thanks!!
J Diaz Cheers friend! Video critics don't chime in much on this channel, thanks! I do my best but generally when shooting it's always on a tight schedule and I try not to bother mates with multiple takes or time outs while I set up my camera... Dana 35 rear... I don't know how it hasn't failed yet! I think his conservative (mostly) use of the skinny pedal and auto transmission help... Stock gearing as well.
Hey what size lift and what size tiers are on there imma lift mine and idk what size lift I should get and idk what size tiers so can someone help me I have a 1998 jeep grand cherokee v6
James Galvano This is a 4.5" longarm lift with 1" coil spacers (so 5.5" inches of total lift). Tires are 35 inches. If you are just beginning I'd start off small and work my way up. BTW Grand Cherokees didn't have V6s, only inline 6s and V8s (or inline 4 diesels if you are in Europe).
Ola le Toulousain ! Genial !
:-P Moi je regrette mon long glasspack... ;-)
Originally a Rough Country 4.5" long arm lift with Fox 2.0 shocks modified at the mounting points for even longer travel. Later on he added coil spacers for an extra inch of lift.
Andrew Schlosser haha well spotted! Ever heard of ZJ Bumper Quick-Disconnects? lol i.imgur.com/gVggViw.jpg It came off when he flexed on a big concrete block. Didn't show it in the video. ;-)
