Susanne Beer playing "Gabriel's Oboe" by Ennio Morricone, from her Divine Art album "Cello Diverse" - dda 25068. Tragically Susanne passed away in December 2019 at the age of 52. We will miss her. What a wonderful performance, and how sad to hear that the performer passed away not so long ago. Its composer Ennio Morricone also. RIP both

Coming back after 7 years since the last time I heard this because I'm about to begin with the cello to find out the artist has passed is really saddening. I love this performance so much.

Why does this video not have more views than this. A proof that we live in a crazy world when the likes of Gangnam style and Harlem shake had millions and this has only 134,122 views. (Btw, at least 100,000 of these views are made of me alone, I just cant get enough of this).

It's perfect! The tones, the sound, the dynamics ... not to mention Morricone's music It made my eyes watery, as the 1st time I watched the movie ... I don't believe it's possible to play it better!

You play a hell of an oboe on the cello. Magnificent, fantastic, indomitable... I'm not sure which word sums it up best, maybe because no word can. Kudos to the piano player, too.
