It’s rare that a song makes me feel like crying for no reason, but this one did. It’s so good though. Remember why she wrote her song “Maybe” 4 months ago? Cause her best friend moved away. Now listen to the lyrics in this song…”the other day i called a friend that I’ve been missing, and quickly I’m reminded of emotions I’ve been hiding for weeks.” Here’s my theory: she wrote this song about how she pretended to be alright since her best friend moved, as well as her moving too afterwards, from Ontario to Costa Rica, which is a big change, and now all the emotions is pouring out at once. I know how that feels. Me too I’m pretending to be alright, when I’m not. I moved across the country 4 years ago, and I don’t necessarily hate the place that i moved to, but i just can’t seem to get over the very few friends that i had, cause friends are hard to make as an introvert. I still get depression phases every few months, especially in the summer, cause I don’t really have much plans with anyone, but everyone i know does. Mostly stuck at home in the countryside, finishing my studies. My family is the only thing keeping me going at the moment. Who knows where I’d be without them. But yeah, i started a RU-vid channel a few years back to try and make a community of people i can connect with💙

What a neat little song. Actually really well written and arranged. I can hear real instruments playing too. Songs like this deserve to have their moment on the charts. So much generic crap every time I look. This is what great pop music should sound like. Almost timeless in a way. A good song is a good song.
