I am curious as to how many nails per shingle did they put for the wind testing. Also the only test I didn't see was extreame hot and then cold. Just to see the effects of how the extreame temputures would of effected the material the shingles are made of. In order to really do this test fairly, you need to do these test for 6 months every day. Then and only then will you see the wear and tear on the shingles material. Hot and cold especially. Also do a test on different attic ventilation. Where one attic has poor Ventilation and the other one good. Do that test for 6 months as well and I guarantee you'll see how well these shingles hold up. I know that GAF makes a great product, but if you're going to test it. Then do it Right.

Where in the world are you going to put these shingles that will receive the condition you refer to with the hot then cold? No point in a test like that unless it’s Armageddon
