Can anybody tell me what is the difference between thread addendum gage and thread height gage? I have TH-3002B model. Can I simply change the contact point and use my gage for addendum measuring?

I just started making NPT threads in the cnc lathe, I really need to learn how to measure if I'm making good parts. I make 3/8 NPT and 1/2 NPT. How can I start checking my threaded parts? I whish the products to check that are not too expensive, I've just started and I can't spend thousands of dollars.

Man y'all need to make a video doing all that while documenting every reading on a log and inputting the same info into the computer database as you go. Following all procedures, work instructions, practices, any customer special requests needed to be performed in addition to what your getting paid to do like your going to get fkn paid for it. required to completely check swaged series500 563 or some 5" slx, while training someone at the same time and about to change over orders and having to document 100% last then first articles on machines with say 90 end production goals achieving an average of 95 while being harassed by an auditor and your supervisor who wants you to jeopardize your job everyday multiple times, sometimes even while any mistakes are counted against you, even to a point of termination, especially if things slow up... Not to mention NDI tests like pulling mold samples of threads and seals then going to a comparator and check minutes for seal angel and thread profile with an overlay then sometimes having a third party wanting to witness and hover over your head the whole time.... I guess I was the inside director... Now that I think back... No doubt that place would've ran a lot longer... No doubt whatsoever and no one can argue cuz there were no people around to assess the system that was being implemented and the possibility of ability to perform as directed. Hey, I was rolling for a good while though, me, Mike, a few others had a part. I'm talking tenaris...
