This lesson covers how to check the weather for an exact location. This is important because sometimes it’s warm and sunny in town but not so nice where you’re planning to go. Gaia GPS solves this problem with localized weather from OpenSnow to give you temperature, cloud cover, precipitation, and wind, so you can be sure to pack the right gear for your trip.

An important note. This feature does not work without cell or wifi service. Trying to get an updated weather forecast while in the backcountry is not possible using these steps.

Excellent information...once it is finally presented. The first 60 seconds is pretty unnecessary. I almost skipped to another video. Maybe leading off with the content might make it more user friendly. Thanks for the information!

Again sorry if I’m repeating this question I new kind of to RU-vid I don’t see the weather when I click on a spot on the map, I have WiFi so must be some setting?

It works perfectly for me on iOS on WiFi. I'd say pause the video and try again.

Talk about putting lipstick on a pig of false marketing. Try making a real tutorial. Step 1 no step 2 bs and so on👍
