Wonderfully played. Bulgarian songs are something else altogether but instrumentals such as these sometimes remind me of Northumbrian pipe music (I love both musical cultures having lived 35 years in the UK. and the last 6 in Bulgaria)
Absolutely love this music, it touches my heart and soul and I am amazed of the way that you present it. You feel the spirit of the music, its really rare foreign musicians to presen bulgarian folklor music in such an authentic and magical way. Love for all of you!
Amazing that all the men are the same guy just with different facial hair. What a talented musician he must be , and more importantly, what an amazingly edited video to make it appear as if he is in multiple locations
@@agc796 also ancient greeks don't exist anymore. Today greeks are mix of orthodox turks, hellenized bulgarians, arnauts and maybe some arabs and africans its easy to see this in Greece
@@beast1680 but still ancient greeks according to the ones shown in ancient Pottery, do not look like the ones shown in movies like Troy, or Hercules, they have always had a genétic relation with anatolians and the balkans, I think they must have looked like many of their mediterránean neighbors.
Wow...Meira, your video and music are absolutely beautiful, full of magical beauty. Pure art. I enjoyed it ! Let my blessings always with you. Happy Easter ! I will share in my Google + page. Sofía
Recently I found out there are over 27 kinds of bag pipes and related instruments, one of them throne being played here.Amazing how the same instruments can be played to get so many different types and sounds of so many different ethnic musics. Now,if the politicians got along as well as musicians, singers, dancers and other performers get along, what a wonderful world it would be.Right!?!
PARABÉNS A TODOS OS MÚSICOS BELÍSSIMO VÍDEO MÚSICA PARABÉNS PELO TALENTO E COMPOSIÇÃO MUSICAL LINDO VÍDEO GRATA POR EXISTIR 💋💋💋💋💋🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
That drum in Bulgaria is called tupan. Since it is a Bulgarian tune (rachenitsa) it seems more logical to list it with the Bulgarian name, especially when you have Gaida, Kaval and Tambura, which are all Bulgarian instruments. The lyra may easily pass for gadulka as well.
What does it matter. The sound and music are very well. Music connects all people, does not make sence where you are coming from. I have danced folkdances from Roemenië, Hungary, Montenegro, Macedonia, Greece, Servia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the whole rest of Europe and some other parts of the world and I liked it. From Nederland, as known as "the Netherlands" or Holland.
