@@__LSPyeah but that’s why you’re suppose to check body kicks with your shins in the first place. It’s not safe to block with kicks with your arms in Muay Thai.
@@gullyblanchard5750 i agreed that it’s supposed to be blocked by the shin. I watched Tito fight and his kick is quite high around forearm area. if you aim for the body (below armpit), it shouldn’t slide off from the shin too much although they were wearing shinguard. it’s rare to see someone got koed as the kick slides from the shin upward to the face. the referee was just doing his job but the rule is quite strange that the fight ended up in dq

It feels weird cause you’re not stepping outside of your centerline and kicking off the ball of your feet. Being on the balls of your feet is key to being able to turn your foot
