"A Computer-Animated Homecoming For Kids Of All Ages!" Songs List: 3:51 - On My Way To Heaven 8:52 - Out Of His Great Love 12:48 - Led Out Of Bondage 16:15 - Dig A Little Deeper 25:23 - God Takes Good Care Of Me
It's beyond me that someone actually thought this was presentable. The soulless eyes of the "characters" are incredibly off-putting and creepy. This makes the animation in "Fishtales" look god-tier. Nevertheless I had to watch clips from Toy Story to remind myself of what good animation was.
This was animated by two people, before Google was really a thing, before RU-vid was full of tutorials, and with no animation experience. They also acknowledge that it's ugly and are totally ok with people memeing on it
Wow does this bring back memories! My grandmother was a radio talk show host for a gospel station and personally met Bill Gaither a few times- she got some of the VHS tapes as a gift for me (I was probably around 2 or 3 at the time) and I watched them every chance I got. Thank you for uploading this! I still have this on VHS and I'm going to search to see if I can find anymore of the episodes in my VHS collection.
Coming from 1997, it’s somehow understandable that the animation team had no mind of how 3D worked. That being said the scene where I thought could be a good reanimated Collab comes from The Cornfield 4 at 16:13
even though the animation, characters and story sucks, I have to admit, the voices of the main frog and that thing at 3:22 are amazingly deep. probably because theyre played by George Younce and JD Sumner.
This brings back memories for me and the animation on this is so nostalgic and fascinating to me I remember my grandma would always babysit me when I was little and I would watch Christian VHS tapes all the time because my grandma wanted me to grow up knowing God and having Christian values and morals and I am so grateful for being raised that way and even though as I grew up I made mistakes and gave into temptations and sinned I know that God forgives me of my sins and I want to try to obey him and honor him with my life.
This is hilariously terrible. The animation is headache inducing. And the female animals hairstyles! The swan at the beginning looked like she was wearing a clam shell on her head. Or was it supposed to be a hat? I need a Tylenol.
well actually I found it on a streaming site but is full of popups and bugs, but they had the other Gaither's, didn't check it though but thanks for uploading this here.
I tried check it on my history but couldn't find it, I recall it was a streaming site for pretty much any sort of videos from the 80's and 90's, but yeah couldn't find it, beside I think was this one, didn't check it back then cause the Thumnail looked ugly.
24:04: "And, well, you saved me again, which is a good thing, 'cause no telling what would have happened to me. I could've ended up on someone's plate. I could of gotton FILLETED, and FROZEN, and SHRINK-WRAPPED INTO THOSE LITTLE BITTY FISH SQUARES AND DEEP FRIED AND PUT INTO SOME BRIGHTLY-COLORED BOX IN YOUR FREEZER SECTION OF YOUR LOCAL SUPERMARKET! *AH, AH, AHHH!!!*"
Craig Robinson: SHUT THE F*** UP!!!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHUT THE F*** MEANS??!!! 😡😡😡😡 That was the opening part of sabersparks review of this episode 😂😂😂😂
Every single frame looks like the animation is on the brink of collapse and about to glitch out uncontrollably, so I'm impressed this is even watchable in the slightest
Despite the creepy and a bit realistic animation I love it and I forgive the people, who made it, beacuse in the 90's technology was something limited and rare. I love the music, especially the opening and the brown birds.
The songs are from the Gaither Homecoming specials, and the "Cornfield 4" are voiced by the Fairview 4, a legendary Gospel quartet. It's good music and great singing even if you're not religious.
Oh. My. God. This is SO MUCH worse than the other three. "But StarGazer! This came out in 1997! Cut them some slack!" Well, the show Reboot! came out in 1994, and it looks superior to this! I never thought I would say that.
Reboot was produced by several large companies that had loads of money and experience. This was made by a semi big gospel group who had only ever done live concerts. The two aren’t really comparable.
