Totally agree with Mark being one of the best baritone in gospel music. His voice can do so much, his register and voice color and texture is exquisite!

I agree with everything you said about Mark Lowry. He is a very talented singer as well as story teller. He can tell a funny story and then bring it into a very thoughtful, insightful conclusion about our Lord, Jesus Christ. It is his gift as well. I enjoyed listening to the great harmony of Mark, David, Michael, Wes, & Bill, really enjoy this 2 song medley! Thank you for sharing!

This is my favorite grouping also! Of course I’d pay big money to watch David sing the phone book! 😂 Btw have you reacted to David singing “Mary Did you know?” Acoustic version - it’s probably my most favorite DP song of all time…. Like a quiet conversation - Lyles reaction last year was great! Take a listen….

Beautiful harmonies! I love this GVB, but I miss Marshall, Guy, and Russ. In my opinion, I guess it all depends on the song they are singing. For example: I can't picture Michael singing Guy's part in "Let Freedom Ring" or Marshall singing Mark's part in "Over the Moon". I guess I basically like all the GVB groups. 😊 Thanks for sharing this song with us!

nice to be able to watch a good reaction channel without offensive language. You have talked a fair bit about harmonies, and just wonder if you have ever heard of the Danish National Girls choir(DR Pigekoret)? The choirs have been ongoing sice the 1930's and have a wide following in their native country. You could listen to any of Come out and play, River(Joni Mitchell), Blackbird, Magnum Mysterium(Lauridsen) or Gabriels Message, to start with. The Juniorkoret and Borne koret are also very good. Try the DR Juniorkoret sing White Water Hymnal or Kliker et Klocker. The DR Bornekoret sing mostly in Danish being only 7/8-12, but you would probably enjoy the Ride Ranke medley or Decembersang medley. The choirs join together often and you can see them along with the Danish filk group, Dreamers Circus, perform Dejlig er Jorden. Yes the last song is in Danish, but is a hymn that you will probably recognize. Give them a listen as I am sure that you will appreciate their level of commitment and quality of sound. new subscriber
