I absolutely love this song and this particular performance, BUT the performance when they sang at the Sydney Opera House is in my opinion his very best performance of this song. Thank you for doing reactions to David.

There are several versions of this song out there...Guy Penrod sang lead originally, but David Phelps comes in to bring it home...also in concert from BonSecours center in Greenville SC... reunion of Vocal band...circa 2018... worth looking for... David is in fabulous voice during this concert

Believe me Roskoe, you need to listen to “Let Freedom Ring” by Gaither band and David Phelps. It is the best harmonizing song. Look for the most viewed performance for that song.

David is one of a kind for sure! Bill always referred to him as "the clean up hitter" of the group. You should do "Let Freedom Ring"... it's another Gaither Vocal Band performance. It's incredible as well. The most viewed version you'll come across is when they performed it shortly after the events of 911... so it's a pretty powerful performance. Enjoy!

I played this song on repeat when I was pregnant with my son, this was the first song he learned when he was 2, he taught himself how to sing by watching and listening to David. My son has grown up knowing David personally and David has been a mentor to my son with conversations in the Barn with answers for my son's singing, he even sang for David when he was 12 years old.

I just rediscovered this song from the Gaither Vocal Band, from 20+ years ago. This is my favorite configuration of the group with David, Guy, Mark Lowry and Bill Gaither. The personnel of the Vocal Band has changed over the years, but this is my favorite match, probably because this was the line-up when I first heard them. You had mentioned that you thought David and Guy might kind of go back and forth with the vocals in "These Are They." They definitely harmonize in that song, but they do go back and forth in this song, "Go Tell Everyone," especially at the end. David Phelps is an absolutely phenomenal singer no doubt about it but I think you should react to other gaither songs that the solos aren’t David Phelps centered because all Gaither Singers can carry A song and can do crazy unique stuff with there vocals as well.
