Easier said than done. Moving area for some people might be easy, but for others it's a impossibility, because of having no money or family. Another thing that's harder than people think is to keep a close eye on your kids. I had good parents, who both worked, and they thought I was just going to my friends every night, but I was walking around getting high, and my parents didnt find out until I was already addicted to drugs, and at that point I had no intention of stopping so I moved out. Theres no way my parents could of done anything differently to stop my behaviour, simply because I was sneaky about doing all that stuff. I even sold drugs to fund my addiction so they had no clue how bad things were until I called them from prison telling them I got a five year prison sentence. Luckily I'm now a totally different person altogether, and I hate who I used to be.

Young children, Lord Have Mercy on this generation.SMH This is a perfect example of what the word of God says, My people parish for LACK of knowledge, when I was that age I was in church, going to camp, or playing outside if not going to the show or the park. Could've been me, too. I understand what you're saying. But fortunately, my mom was smart and moved to Texas when I was a child and got me outta there. But I spent summers running around with my cousins in Chicago from the Southside. I know the grandparents, parents, uncles aunts and older cousins of many of the people mentioned. If I would've stayed, I would've been in the mix too. Maybe not exactly like her, but they definitely would have been getting me to fight other females for them. I know me, and if I'm how I am growing up in a great environment with my mom...I can't imagine what I would have done if my environment was always like theirs. I'd probably be dead or in jail. I'm grateful my mom saw the writing on the wall and got up outta there! It saved my life, as well as one of my cousins.
