Galactica 4K - Milky Way Coloratura (MUSIC BY COLDPLAY)
Enjoy this special astro-photography timelapse film release showcasing my creative vision and adventures from around the world. Each of these scenes carries its own unique story and suspense; I wish I had enough room here to tell you about each one. I am forever grateful for all the wonders I have experienced, and all the kind inspiring human beings I have met along the way.

Equipment: Sony a7iii, a7riii, and a7IV (astro-modified with special cooling system).
Software: LRTimelapse, Adobe Lightroom and After Effects, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro X.

I’m a doctor currently on a night shift. I cried watching this masterpiece. There is something about night sky time lapses that make me wanna fly away into the universe. I forget all my problems and feel at home. I don’t feel lonely watching millions of stars. Thank you so much, Noel. You don’t even know how much this video means to some of us. ❤️

Kairos. That's exactly how I feel. I don't sleep well. I can put these on and they relax you so good, You can see how beautiful the universe really is, take all the people out., so you can just be alone with it. Sometimes you cry.

Maybe it suggests a longing to connect with the true meaning/Creator of this universe. To find truth and light. Like our ancestors used to look up and do. We all do, because it is a need to connect with the One who created us. God is real. There is a lot of falsity in this world, but the Bible is truly an amazing book. God will speak and answer if you just ask. Just be open and ask Him to show you. He will. I felt a pull to write that. Hope all is well with you.

Outstanding compilation, Noel. Your Timelapse’s are amazing, but I am continually blown away with your foreground lighting. Since I can’t imagine how many lights you must use to produce such few shadows, my guess is that you are somehow combining blue-hour photos with video. Whatever you do, it really works well. It gives much pleasure and inspiration just to watch/see your work. Thanks.

I have developed a unique technique that involves data from multiple cameras of the same scene and matching pixels, a form of computational photography. Best Regards, -Noel 🌌

@@MajesticFlights Thanks, hope to meet you sometime. Question. For your HDR RU-vid uploads, how did you make sure the SDR version looked good?

@@andreaskoengTimelapse Andreas this is excellent question! On RU-vid they will automatically convert your HDR file to SDR using their technique. It works pretty good but isn’t perfect all of the time. There is a way to add a separate metadata file to the HDR upload to tell RU-vid the exact transformation you want going from HDR to SDR, but I haven’t tried it yet. Fortunately if you’re using HDR most people watching now on RU-vid have HDR screens on their phones so will pick up the HDR version. Maybe only on desktop computers people watching may be forced to see the SDR version. Hope that helps.

Hi first thanks for visiting and your kind comment. To answer your question there are many places in this video from all over the United States. Upstate New York, Joshua tree California, Arizona Monument Valley, Death Valley California.

@@rishigoyal7059 no, not at all! Just go anywhere there is very low light pollution and you can see it! Dry using a free app called Dark Sky!

Well also good quality lens and a few very powerful softwares and skills to properly edit this using a powerful computer. I usually use Lightroom (from raw photos), LRTimelapse, and AfterEffects and/or FCPX.

Hi thank you! No I don’t use mask with fixed foreground! I have figured out special way to computationally combine information from multiple cameras shooting timelapse simultaneously! Nobody really understand this right now except for me I think. I approach photography in an unconventional way.

@@AmazingNature hi sure absolutely I’ll share it!! I can share it with you do you have email? For cameras I use Sony a7iii and a7iv (astro modified to allow enhancement of h-alpha emissions). For lenses I often use 24mm f1.8 and 14mm at f/2.0.

I’ve gotten a few heartfelt emails from your patients the last couple years…including one who said I have him hope. Please tell them I’ve been through some great pain and struggles in my life, and the best advice I can give is “don’t ever give up…”.
