▸ Sins of Sinister is a 2023 comic book crossover storyline published in the X-Men franchise of books by Marvel Comics. The event involves a dark future brought about by Mister Sinister's corrupt machinations.
Sins of Sinister will kick-off with a one-shot written by Kieron Gillen and artist Lucas Werneck. Immortal X-Men by Kieron Gillen, X-Men Red by Al Ewing and Legion of X by Si Spurrier will be transformed into three limited series: Immoral X-Men, Storm & the Brotherhood of Mutants and Nightcrawlers. The story will be told across three different time periods: 10 years, 100 years and 1000 years in the future. The series' writers will continue their current story plans after the finale one-shot, Sins of Sinister: Dominion.

Galactus and thor getting shat on is like a signature of marvel at this point, you'll get used to it, unfortunately U want to show your character is unstoppable? Have them cut thor's hand off or have them control mjolnir to thor's shock like it hasn't happened a million times before, u want to show your character is a "threat to the universe"? Have em one-shot galactus, the guy who's main ability is to absorb energy from anything

Bro, I've been a fan of this channel for a long time. This channel is one of the few, on RU-vid, that my kids were raised on. If they need a refresher on a character or certain event, this is our first choice. Usually only. Anyway, have you thought about doing a podcast? With the amount of content you currently have and your fan base, I'm sure it'll be successful. If not that's cool I'll still watch your videos watch your videos when I'm 70, and I'm sure you'll still be posting videos while you're 70 LOL.

The reason I LOVE that Moira has it now is that it won't work. Even if her plan to safely eliminate powers "works", someone is gonna assume that's not enough and anyone who ever was or even resembles a mutant is gonna basically be subject to a modern day witch trial, continuing the classic X-Men cycle and giving us more comics. This whole Sinister event is confusing and convoluted to me. Honestly, with the revelation that Moria is a mutant that can reset time comfuses me. Is these separate timeliness? Universes? Idk.

They were presented in House of X/Powers of X as alternate timelines. I see it as how time travel is treated in Dragonball Z, where every change in the past creates a new, distinct timeline. Moira's power allows her to send her consciousness back in time when she dies to a point where all the timelines diverge (her birth) with all of her memories intact. So she can make any changes she wants, effectively allowing her to craft any alt!timeline she wants.

@EclipseCircle this makes the whole event make even less sense. Cause for one, if it's her consciousness moving back, then when does the clone go back, to when it was made? To Moiras past? And also, if it's to the point of the clones creation, then why multiple clones? And how does sinister remember what he does if it's moiras consciousness moving back?

Gotta say Nightcrawler is getting a lot of play in Marvel right now. Not only is he the star of Legion of X this Nightcrawlers run has not been too bad either (indirectly starring Kurt) and from Fall of X on he’s actually going to be a Spider-Man for a while
