Honestly, wouldn't mind if the MCU becomes spilt into multiple universes, for each superhero group. My biggest grippe with the MCU has been its over-connectedness and each movie being used to develop the next movie, or build to the next event movie.
I would not be surprised if they don't announce the casting and film it in secret without any of the crew from The Fantastic Four. Maybe they can say it's reshoots for one of the shows.
Personally for me and I’m calling it I think John Malkovich is gonna be playing Franklin Storm Susan and Johnny’s father the guy that Reed and Sue name their son after, plus u don’t just cast someone as talented as John Malkovich with him playing just somebody in the military or whatever random character that’s just generic u get him as somebody who’s very Important to the Fantastic 4
I think this is all great news that this isn't taking place in the 1960s MCU. To see the MCU post-Captain America 1 is honestly quite boring. We've already seen what a vintage MCU was like during those decades in both Endgame and WandaVision. It's pretty much our history but with not many superheroes back then. I think this new F4 movie is quite literally going to be like The Incredibles where it's an alternate history of the past where advance technology came about a lot earlier. The kind of future people have envisioned back in those days. It's the kind of world that the classic Superman, Batman, and Ironman would've inhabited. Art Deco, German Expressionism and Futurism. Speaking of Superman, I kind of expect Metropolis to somewhat resemble a futuristic city set in the modern world in James Gunn's new Superman movie. Similar to what Tim Burton or Matt Reeves Gotham City looked liked but with the obvious tonal difference of it being bright, clean and heavenly looking.
It'll be nice to see an alternate universe with these characters as opposed to just throwing them into the MCU's existing world. It would've been somewhat difficult explaining why Reed Richards wasn't around in some capacity for endgame or other avengers battles anyway, so an alternate universe makes a decent amount of sense if they do plan on bringing them into the MCU. I am worried that they're going to pull a Captain America First Avenger on us and immediately throw them into the MCUs world near the end of the film, which isn't something I'm necessarily excited about. MCUs main world isn't exactly doing so hot, so introducing them into an existing shitshow is a bit alarming. Nonetheless, if Marvel gets their shit together I can't see why they wouldn't fit in eventually. Maybe this group of characters should be in their own standalone universe for all their movies and only arrive in the MCU when it's important. Shakman is creative enough, but Disney can't help but to make everything this giant, massive, expansive universe with all these characters and heroes. I just want something that isn't wholly involved with the MCU right now, kind of like Andor within the confines of Star Wars.
i’m honestly kinda scared and i love galactus. i don’t mean to be *that* fan but won’t they have to address this in some other movie afterwards? since a few people are aware of the multiverse like Wanda, Strange and the remaining avengers (they don’t act monitor them tho), like will someone have a dream of him eating a planet or smth
I don't want to be that guy. But technically this is the 4th live action iteration of the Fantastic Four. There was the Roger Corman produced one in 1994, there was Fantastic Four in 2005-07, there was Fant4stic in 2015 and now The Fantastic 4 in 2025. 4th times the charm.
I don’t think this is 100% confirmation that this is the main villain. It could still be silver surfer with just moments of galactose as him being over silver surfer. A Palpatine for Vader if you will.
First movie they fight silver surfer with the bigger bad on his way. 2nd movie Galactus arrives eats their world and fantastic four jumps into the regular mcu to join our heros with the message galactus ate their world won't be long before he arrives to eat the mcu as well. 3rd movie team up to fight galactus
Finally I’m excited to see him he’s a villain I really want to see an the Mcu you is going to do him right then that garbage that they did in fantastic 4 rise of the silver surfer
Lol you spend too much time on the internet if this is what “controversial” is to you. Oh child, you should have been around when the MCU was beginning where every non-conventional casting choice was talked about over and over. “Controversy”…lol. Baron Mordo’s casting stirred up more “controversy” than this.
You do know she ain’t playing a gender bent Norrin Radd? It’s literally a different character who has the same abilities and visual design but that’s it
@@quietdemon8138 ya a character nobody likes. Nobody wanted in the comics and real comic fans dislike for many of reasons. I know more about the comics than you ever will buddy I have thousands and have done vigorous research. Over many years. Your stupid attempt at a defense because you watched some shills RU-vid video is just unintelligible and screams smooth brain sheep.
