Galactus VS Unicron (Marvel Comics VS Transformers) | DEATH BATTLE! 

There's an easy way to tell Galactus and Unicron apart. Galactus eats planets because he _has_ to, while Unicron eats planets because he _wants_ to.

Despite being antagonists, I like that Galactus was at least technically the good guy in this fight since he isn't all evil, I'd rather the planet be devourered by him

I love that Unicorn is so unimaginably evil, that makes Galactus look like the good guy.

So if Galactus' appearance changes on the person viewing him. Would Unicron see Galactus as a transformer? I wonder what that would look like...

Well if Death Battle ends here with Rooster Teeth’s shutdown, at least they ended it with a bang and one of the most requested fights.

I love that their interaction at the start of the fight was basically just: Galactus: “I claim this planet as the devourer of worlds!” Unicron: “Piss off because I said so.”

"Beg not for mercy, behold blackend skies, against mine chaos, even gods will die." That is one of the coldest lines I've heard in Death Battle and in a while in general.

Wiz with Galactus: "Is Galactus truly evil or he just hungry; cursed with the eternal need to consume to maintain his overwhelming power? Is that evil, or is it nature?" Wiz with Unicron: "This guy is Satan."

It may seem like a final battle and a fitting way to go out, but just as a reminder: The fight isn't over yet.

Fun fact : another reason Galactus doesn’t just destroy earth is because his best friend is squirrel girl . She is what helps him keep some of his humanity.

You know with them throwing planets and galaxies at each other, this technically counts as a food fight. Edit: Just got informed that Villain Support already did a skit about this same joke. Watched the videos and found it hilarious. I recommend you guys check him out.

The thing about Galactus that never gets refenced by people talking about him is that on top of everything else, he is a force of nature, not in the metaphorical sense, he is quite literally the counter force to entropy. He exists partially to hold off the heat death of the universe. This fight was inevitable because if Unicron wanted to end all life, he'd have to face Galactus sooner or later, and he would fall to him like so many have before.

Here's hoping this won't be the last Death Battle.

With Rooster Teeth being shut down, this could very well have been the last Death Battle we are gonna get. Hopefully they will be able to continue somehow but if not, it was a great and fitting one to go out on.

This Battle gave more respect to Galactus then every Marvel Comic writer in the past twenty years.

My favorite thing about this battle is how Galactus and Unicron were both spitting bars from beginning to end. The rap game is strong with these two.

So glad they made this before RT collapsed. I think they'll survive, but if not, thank you for entertaining us since 2010 with fun, well-researched what-if battles. Edit: DEATH BATTLE LIVES!!!

It's so bizarre, yet also so oddly fitting to think that, if Death Battle doesn't end up continuing in the future, then _this_ is the finale.

The sad thing about Galactus is that he's become the thing in comics that someone fights to show how powerful they are instead of him actually being scary

You know a fight between two cosmic gods is gonna be insane when they're writing poetry as they throw hands

Essentially, Unicron was the embodiment of destruction, while Galactus was the embodiment of the entire universe. Unicron was evil, while Galactus is _everything,_ which includes evil. Plus, if you really think about it, the ultimate nullifier was truly the only way to permanently kill Unicron. Think about it: any other method would leave evil and hatred in the universe, which would eventually allow Unicron to return. Using the UN however would not just destroy him, but completely remove him from the multiverse. And, since he is the embodiment of evil and hatred and destruction, then to nullify him would be to nullify all ill-will in the entirety of the infinite multiverse. That means that even after Unicron is gone, he will never return, as there is literally no ill-will. Ever. Since the dawn of time, there was never any evil. In killing Unicron, Galactus created complete and utter paradise. Every creature ever born in this new multiverse, in its infinite expanse, is altruistic to a perfect definition, and will never know the feeling of evil in any form. A beautiful consequence of the clashing of gods.

There was a legendary page on the Transformers Wiki that was called something like "Unicron's Final Goal" and it was a completely blank page with him in the middle.

You know...the fight becomes a lot funnier when you realize what it really is. Two hipsters fighting over the last whole-wheat bagel at a coffee shop and challenging each other to a poetry slam for the honor of eating it.

If this does end up being the last death battle, let me say thank you all the fun! Y’all took the matchups and fights everyone would talk about at school and brought them as close to life as possible! Wish everyone the best

Not gonna lie, seeing how epically hard they went on this makes me wanna see Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann in a death battle now~

Unicron grabbing a star and condensing it into a black hole is the most badass move I've seen in fiction.

I like to imagine that Galactus backed off against Reed in that old comic because he was impressed by the sheer audacity Reed had to even attempt that, and thus decided Earth was entertaining enough to not eat quickly.

It comes to my attention that this could be the last Death Battle produced. I hope there is solace to be found in ending on a high note. So, in case DB doesn’t come back, thanks. For many great episodes, my favorites being Rainbow Dash VS Starscream, Carnage VS Lucy, Blake Belladonna VS Mikasa Ackerman, Rick Sanchez VS The Doctor, and Goku VS Superman 3.

Fun fact: Galactus and Unicron speaking in iambic pentameter in the second half of the fight is meant to pay homage to the kind of prose Stan Lee wrote in the early comics that Galactus made his debut in.

Honestly I think my favorite part of the analysis is how they technically stated in galactus's analysis that he killed the marvel equivalent of Unicron already, but when this came up in Unicron's analysis they instead distracted us with the sheer terror of what a being like him is capable of and how impossible it is for us to truly ever destroy him

I recall that Galactus’s appearance differs depending on the race that is looking at him. One can only imagine what Galactus would look like from Unicron’s point of view.

I love how this is essentially two all powerful cosmic beings throwing hands over a single snack, like they're trying to claim the last Dorito chip in the bowl😂

If this the final episode of Death Battle after the announcement that Rooster Teeth is going out of business, at least Death Battle went out on a bang, not only a great fight but their most requested fight EVER.

In the end, Unicron is exactly the kind of thing that Galactus gets called in to stop- and Galactus knows how to handle these things.

I love how they talked and rhymed through the whole fight like old classic 60's-70's comic characters would. Like they're as much *mythical figures* facing off as giant colorful action figures slamming into each other

This Death Battle Animation is so SMOOTH! The People who made this animation deserves a lot of Credit! 😊

I like how Galactus was basically a protagonist in this situation. He may be a villain to the Heros of Marvel but he’s a keeper of Balance in the universe and there to stop those like Unicron from stepping out of line.

The way Galactus killed Unicron mid-way through his final speech was so cold. Like, he didn't care if his opponent got to hear it. He was talking out loud to himself for solely his own benefit; everything and everyone else was beneath him.

I fitting end, the most requested Death Battle is the last episode Death Battle you will be missed and let’s hope you will come back!

You know, it's kinda poetic that the most requested battle, a fight between gods that destroy entire galaxies with a thought alone, could be the last Death Battle now that rooster teeth are gone. If this is the end, then at least it went out with a glorious finale.

I really appreciated that Galactus absorbed Unicron's own attack energy to boost his own power. It's an element of the character that's often overlooked. No matter the magnitude of force applied against him, Galactus can make it his own and turn it back on his attacker. In gamer terms, he scales to any challenge.

Honestly, this _does_ work as a series finale. As Wiz points out, every preceding Death Battle has fueled Unicron - what better way to close things out than by having him put all that fuel into a final battle with the other cosmic devourer in popular fiction? But I hope it’s not the finale. This show deserves to go out on its own terms.

I love that this takes the climax of Thanos vs Darkseid and then just makes that the default scale of the fight.

This proves that when Galactus isn’t just used as a punching bag and a feat for other characters by Marvel he can be a really strong and scary omnipotent god.

Funny thing about Galactus is that his name was chosen by the writers to sound huge and intimidating. Now being named after a galaxy makes someone on his level look underpowered Kinda like "Iron"man

This is one of the best animated fights that was done. Galactus and Unicron were casually chucking entire black holes, galaxies, and universes at eachother. This was a masterpiece. Despite everyone’s opinions they did both of these characters more justice than there respective verses as of late.

The best death battle that made my dreams come true...Hats off to the people behind this channel. The step up on the animation was way beyond the infinite space of the cosmos. My respect has been earned💯👌👍👍👍👍👍💗

The best thing I learned from this fight was that Galactus himself, consumer of worlds, created the Ultimate Nullifier to destroy anyone he somehow couldn't, and yet he remembered to include a safety on it Remember kids, safety always comes first

Let's not also forget that Galactus isn't technically "evil" as you pointed out, so there would be no hatred or malice for Unicron to anchor on for potential revival. For Galactus, it's nothing personal, but for Unicron everything in personal, which is basically a liability.

One thing I find worth pointing out. Unicron is always playing catch up here. Almost all of his attacks use a material of some sort, planets, suns, etc. While all of Galactus' attacks come from the power cosmic almost exclusively.

Unicron was the true villain of this episode. He came in out of nowhere to take Galactus’s lunch but when he didn’t allow it, he straight up took it and smashed it on Galactus’s head. That is just beyond disrespectful.

Idk if it's completely over for this channel but if Rooster Tooth shutting down means that this is the end of Death Battle, then this is a very fitting final episode for the series.
