@@dakit3724 my friend. dropped his iPhone 6s, called it trash after not working after the drop, bought an iPhone 11, says it sucks...Now im seriously am confuse why he bought it in the first place...
@@clydeleano3271 we wanted the newest iPhone probably. He might think it sucks because he's not used to it. Granted when my iPhone 6 began acting like a POS I eventually got a Samsung Device and have been a firm fan of Android ever since.
It's funny how this phone didn't break yet at the same time Apple's most expensive phones break if you barely look at them even with some coming Pre broken or bent out of the box
@@Alucard-gt1zf They all do, it's just probably most obvious on the black. (I am typing this on my black A70 - I'd say it was for that reason but it's really because that was what was available on the contract I got it on, and it's locked in a wallet case now.)
mine A50 bended in my pocket and full of dust because i work on dusty places. And I can't use it anymore because dust is between screen and motherboard and screen is sensing touch when i don't touch it. RIP. But it lasted for almost a year, i just need him to last one more year
He's right that there's no reason to upgrade to a new phone because of the stagnant development of features in smartphones nowadays. I'd say it's a downgrade they removed the headphone jack and microSD slot in newer phones. I'm still rockin a Note8 and find it adequate for my daily use.
Still love apple but have my A50 and saved money for my Ipad for productivity and school stuff instead of just one shitty Iphone to watch memes on Instagram and some YT-Videos... which don't require anything that only apple has like with these android tablets that might be good but the programms are just pure shit and things like procreate and notability are way too awesome!
Do you even consider their flagship how much it cost to upgrade to higher capacity? Or the other brand? If samsung can pull that up then why do they have expensive sh8? When they can just sell same thing for less.
réisse ً i dont know if u mean apple or samsung, but if ur talking about apple then you should know u cant upgrade your storage except if ur a phone surgeon and u will prob mess up, so you have to spend money on upgrading your phone when u get it or else ur screwed later on, and samsung has sd’s Say hello to my 16gb iphone
I just got the Samsung A51, So far I've been very happy with it. I'm glad to see it's predecessor did well on your show. I don't think the back on this one looks as holographic as yours does, but that could just be the lighting. When I bought it I hadn't even noticed the plastic back but it still has one. I have a good case to protect everything so I'm not too concerned. I bought it for the price and because it had come highly recommended. I'm tired of spending a lot on a phone so I decided that it would be better to go with the cheaper model. I went back to Samsung after have a first gen Motorola Droid for 3 years (which I loved until battery issues.)
@@andychen3350 Im so sad😭😭😭 I wasn't believing in you but I searched up and I seen that he really died😭😭😭😭 R.I.P Grant Thompson 38 Years and freaking 4 children😭😭😭
I've had an a50 for a year now, it still works perfect it's still very responsive, the only things i started noticing after a while is that the battery is taking longer to charge and shorter to go empty but that happens with every phone, the paint around the buttons is starting to flake off and with other daily abused samsungs i noticed that the phone works nice until six months after the software updates aren't supported anymore, then they tend to get funky
@@matilda9787 Its such a good phone! The finger scanner still needs work. However, the quality and the camera is very good. The face recognition is super fast. Also AR emoji is really fun😄. Bixby I dont use as much as I use Google assistant. I also love how it has dark mode. Over all its a great Mid-range phone.
@@CookiezNCreamz Hey Bud, I have a trick for you Add your fingerprint 3 times in different positions and then in the search bar of settings type: "Biometric preferences" And then click it then go to screen transition effect and turn it off And make your sure you A50's animations are on .5x and whenever you scan your finger just tap it once don't hold it Good Day! :) (Sorry for trash English in between)
So how do you like it? I've been an apple user since the iPhone 4 and am on the 6s+ but I'm tired of apples shitty new phones. Was actually thinking of going to this phone, so any anecdote or quirks you've noticed I would appreciate it.
@@theproudestJAILBIRD go for it. This phone is actually better than some apple flagships, has a headphone jack, looks beautiful, powerful camera with exynos 9610. Makes this phone legit fire. Its battery is awesome and charges pretty quickly, it almost survived the durability test. Its not ip68 water resistant but it really is splash proof.
I absolutely love the A50! A decently cheap samsung phone for only 200 to 300 dollars while running smoothly and amazingly well, definitely worth the purchase.
LMFAO this review is hilarious ...i came here to see how the phone performs and this guy does a flame test. Why tf would i set my phone on fire? anyway i subscribed because this guy is cool. Now I will randomly watch him reviewing phones I will never buy because of his sense of humour
Thanks, mate! I found this review very helpful. I got A50 for over 2 years now and is a wonderful phone. WIll you be doing a durability test for Galaxy A53 5G? I'm thinking of upgrading to it and I could use a good durability test. :)
@@catboy3471 as you wish. just trying to confirm something. im already tired of bashing apple or defending android, no financial benefit for me personally...
@@aviationismylife6814 How am I being a sheep if I listed both phone's specs and prices? The iPhone has one advantage, compute performance. That's it. The A50 is a better phone in every other area.
I watched this video with MY galaxy A50 and I had to hold my A50 tight with ever scratch he made and that bend test almost killed me. However it was good to see someone do a real test on the quality of the phone instead of dropping it from a 10 story building.
I bought an app on the playstore that disabled the bixby functionality and makes it so I can double press the bixby button to turn on the flashlight (even with the phone locked) ,long holding the bixby button enables/disables auto rotate and just tapping it will toggle / untoggle vibrate mode
"Apple charges 300 dollars just to upgrade the internal memory, while Samsung here is selling the whole phone for that price"😂🤣 Ahhh yes, I love it when Jerry takes shots at Apple Edit: Sorry guys I'm so used to calling Zack by his channel name, so ignore the fact that it says Jerry not Zack lol😅
りゅうLance 😂😂😂 oof On a real note apple buys the lcds from them too... so its nothing new I mean, with the oled displays tho samsung charges them 5x more then the lcd 💀
@@hadiaarshad9838 Yeah, i just got mine and one of the standout features was the huge 4000mAh battery, but it feels like it drains way quicker than that?
@Tech Solver hey bro how was your experience with the a50 ? I am a heavy gamer and social media user and looking for a good phone with a great battery that could stay with me for 2 years minimum without any lags or problems . So is the a50 suitable for me ?
I think that you should add some new things on your test : - Drop test (a fair enough but not like from a 100000000 feet bulding) - Water test (Check the IP certification) - Battery test screen on I think its time to update your test 😇😇😇😇😁 I would love to see that coming
What is the point? He left that for other RU-vidrs except some causal drop tests. This here is his theme and what is unique about his content why ruin that now!
@@AhmedBasyoni4488 Sometimes no... Like the mate 20 pro (no drop test) And jerry is better than a stupid 100000ft test in liquid nitrogen sponsor nord VPN I think....
Yes I'm aware of that he's trying to keep drop tests realistic, but he always mention that this is not scientifically measured so it is not accurate to each situation and he prefers not to do it unless there is a growing demand to do it for a specific phone.
