Thanks man this actually seemed really simple to do and I'm probably gonna get an SD Card soon this weekend because I'm thinking of trading my Note 8 in for the S10. My contract was up and wanted to get a new phone anyways and had this current one since Christmas 2017 so I don't want to lose my pictures and videos.
(re: this comment, not to the video.) I followed the video and had no issues... you could just automatically back them up to your google account... If anything happens to your phone, at least you wouldn't lose all of your pictures. Go to Google Photos> settings> free up space -- make sure you back them up over wifi or you'll use up your data quickly. I needed the SD backup option because my photos werent uploading and I didn't want to lose 6gb of memories.

Thank you! A note I had in Notepad with hints to my passwords disappeared! This helped me to locate it, saved elsewhere in my phone. It didn't send the latest synced update to my email like it usually does either. Thought I was SOL! Whew!! Now to change all of them anyway, because WTF happened to the note?!!! I have over 50 notes and only that one disappeared?! 🤔

This has nothing to do with crop and paste as I asked note sure why I got this. Not that some people can't I suppose. But can you tell me how to crop and paste on my old note 8 or even a note 20 ultra? Please having a hell of a time. When I do crop it saves as a text and picture that I cropped and needed doesn't come back

Hi instead of copy video to album, i moved it to album from phone internal to sd card, after the whole day copying now none of my videos can play as it says video not supported. Now all mu videos gone. How do i recover it ?
Yeah, it didn't work for me either. Some of the options are missing on my Note 9. I think some recent updates removed (or moved) some of those options.
So after I moved my videos, to the SD card, to save storage on my phone, and made sure the videos were there, I went back to my phone to erase the videos then it erased the videos both in my phone and in the SD card too! Why!? I just lost all those videos! Can someone help. 🙏
Maybe you should have removed the sd card before erasing? I'm not sure if it would have worked that way. I guess my next phone will have the 512 GB storage.
This is helpful - BUT - I bought the SD card to save my files from Samsung Note. I cannot for the life of me get this to work. How do I save my notes to the SD Card. Thanks for any suggestions you may have.
this is beyond ridiculous. I had put off updating my phone for months, and just the other day I accidentally hit "update" instead of "postpone" like I have been doing. and now I can't even transfer anything. why'd they change to this stupid method?? it used to show, when you hit those 3 dots, "move to sd", wtf was wrong with that? that was simple, now there's all these idiotic steps, it's ridiculous.
So it is super simple to transfer... So how do you transfer movies to the sd card, and then delete the movie from the internal device and not lose the movie? I transferred the movie to the sd card, and deleted the movie in the gallery, and the movie disappeared from the sd card.

something is definitely wrong with Samsung. mine won't give any options for moving anything to my sd anymore. I updated the phone and everything changed completely. it was so simple before. really, really, really not liking my Samsung right now. technology should make our lives easier, not make things more frustrating.
