Thanks man. My sister refused to upgrade to a phone with more internal storage and this video was perfect. Nothing else was working and I've never owned a phone with android 10 on it. The developer options wasn't giving me the option to change apps to the internal storage to the sd card until this. Thanks a bunch

Hi @Yendry Cavo, I did it all the steps you shown here, in my Lenovo Tablet, but I am stucked at the app move option, I clicked on MOVE option but the tablet is not accepting my click/ touch, it just remain showing the move option even though I tried pressing the MOVE option repeatedly.

did this and backed up first.. then went to put the files from the backup onto it and the computer won't do it unless *the computer* formats it (I assume back to some state that would make this useless). How to get the files back onto it?

It's not working on my phone. It's still unavailable to move on SD card

@Yendry Cayo Tech The reason why moving apps to SD Card is to save spaces from the internal storage and install many more apps. However, a 32GB SD Card is not enough and you want to move all the appdata to a new 64GB，how do you transfer all the files and folders without damaging appdata? I have not found one RU-vid video that talks about this yet. Any advise, anybody? Thanks!

Very helpful, but not all my apps have the option to change to SD card. Also, when I try to move an app to the SD card it says not enough space despite being a 14GB card.

At 2:34, your phone shows "Format" and "Format As Internal." My Moto g7 Plus only shows "Format." The 128GB card I used first was setup as internal storage. Must the new 256GB card also be setup as internal storage or is the phone setup to use any new cards that way if older ones were?

After I formatted the SD card I followed to APPS went to Facebook, clicked storage and did not have the change option available. Only options available were Clear data and Clear Cache. What now?

You should tell people the lowest Android version for which your instructions will work. At (01:45) you should have explained WHAT people SHOULD have seen if the option to move it to the SD card was available. You're teaching people how to move apps to the SD card and you don't tell them what to look for and cover it by just saying "As you can see we don't got a option....". HOW can we "see" something is missing when we at this point don't even know what to look for? At (02:35) you tell people to "Format as Internal". Two comments: #1 you should WARN people very emphatically that this will delete all data on the SD card and it will NOT be recoverable (1 person below commented they followed your instructions and lost photos, data, etc. Yes...it _should_ be obvious to *most* people that will happen, but not everyone knows it. It's the teacher's responsibility to warn them of such potentially devastating actions and make it absolutely clear what happens...even to the point of being ridiculous about repeating it...even saying the same thing in different ways. Loss of data actions should never be covered in a monotone "business as usual" voice. #2 you should tell people the impact if this "Format as Internal" option doesn't show up. Example: should they quit the video at this time because everything following depends on this and continued watching won't help them...or do you later cover alternative methods and they should keep watching the video.

What if my tablet for example only has the 'format' option, could it work? I also tried to choose 'force permissions on external memory' that made me move an app forcefully, but with Clip Studio for example the data just duplicates in both the internal and external storage. Not sure what else to do.

If the apps that u move or transfer to sd card.. Then u used it is it able to transfer also the data?

Be careful with this guy's saying. He never mentioned of erasing everything when sd internal formatting. Some people format sd because no option of internal formatting in their phones. If you have something in sd, don't listen to this guy. You will be messed up. This guy is not worth ruining your life.
