And I quit at 14:11 I really don't need the "show" nor the theme to appreciate science. I guess this i for (young) kids. not old ones :)

A planet forming around a dead pulsar star would certainly be a lot like the underworld, considering the enormous concentrated dosage of raw radiation, heat, and light energy that pulsar is constantly spitting out at every second. I shutter to even fathom being near such a thing.

Wow what an awesome presentation! You folks at are all amazing and totally engaging. I love the fact that you present in a manner in which those of us who are not astronomers and astrophysicists can understand the intricate details. Thank you!

The Milky Way and Andromeda are both orbiting the Virgo Cluster, and Andromeda is catching up with the Milky Way from behind.

5000 mph winds filled with glass... it's the sandblaster planet! A two day year! How close can a planet orbit its sun? It would seem this planet must be approaching that limit. I suppose that limit depends on the type of star. Cool posters! My favorite is the Zombie Worlds...

The multiverse theory makes sense of peculiarities of our universe, such as the fine-tuning (up to a point) of fundamental constants so that life can exist. If there were only one universe (ours), then the fact that the fundamental constants permit life to exist in our universe in its most favorable locales would be very strange. But if there are many universes, one only needs to invoke the weak anthropic principle. Notice, however, that our universe's fundamental constants are NOT as fine-tuned for life as it MIGHT have been. Instead of being largely confined to a small percentage of planets/moons that have the right chemical precursors, a more life-friendly life might be habitable throughout most of its volume.

38:50. When infinities crop up in theory, it's usually a signal that there's something wrong with the theory. The idea that singularities of infinite density and of infinite spacetime curvature exist inside black holes is probably wrong. More likely, spacetime is itself a quantum field that will exhibit its own kind of particles if the energy density is great enough. Unfortunately, the energy density required to form an event horizon is probably less than the energy density to cause spacetime to break from its fluid continuity and create spacetime particles. We can't see the particles because they are all inside black holes.

Could dark matter be a form of a negative quark? For example a normal quark is 2 up 1 down. Could this negative quark be 1 up 2 down, therefore creating negative matter? Also, i know radiation is an unstable atom, so could a negative quark for lmk negative atoms inturn forming radiation that is just dark matter?
