had to login just to say that this is the best tech repair help I have ever seen. absolutely comprehensive... confident and brilliantly clear! im glad to find that you have so many views and likes, because this is 11/10 only thing is perhaps, for people like me just replacing the broken front glass -- I might get confused as to which steps I shouldn't be taking! however... that is not what this video is for. and you cover that part anyway! just without specifying

I saw a lot of teardown vids on YT, but this one is the best by far. Good light, camera focus, every single bit explained and shown how to replace... my hat comes off to you, sir. This is one of the best dissembly videos I've seen. You go through everything that can be helpful to know about, show it to the cam in a great way so you can't miss a thing and it's not leaving you asking yoruself "wait, what did he do? how did he do that?" and you show off some tips that might be useful (checking the screen if it works properly before installing, showing the screen when installed and working correctly). This will surely help me if I need to repair my S2.

If got a question, At my S2 only the Frame is damaged. Is there a Opinion to change the frame around the display in witch you can keep the same Screen? Please reply ;) (And sorry for the grammar, i'm from Germany)

Very glad I found this. I was having trouble with my headphone jack and my micro-usb. Fortunately simply pulling it apart and cleaning it seemed to provide a (temporary) fix. I had some trouble removing the back piece; using a thin guitar pick helped. Thanks for helping me fix my phone at 2am!

You Sir are a star !! Smashed my screen good a proper, thought that was the end of that........however, purchased a new screen from Ebay (£55) and followed your very detailed video and with in a couple of hours I had a fully functional phone again. The hardest part was getting the screen out, since it was cracked, smashed in to very small bits, so took some time removing them all, like wise with the LCD part, took nearly 40mins alone to remove this part.

It worked the second time around. I started from the begining and just did a battery check every time i moved onto the next step. Must have just not sat the screen flex connector properly. Thanks for the great video!!! Thumbs up

I just want to say THANKS A LOT! Without that video, I would've probably wasted more money on another phone while this one just works fine. It took me about an hour to disassemble/ reassemble the phone. Also, you are very good at this. Every step seemed trivial when really it was almost impossible for me to get some of the pieces out. But altogether it was a pretty easy process and a great tutorial. Cheers.

Absolutely superb example of a professional at work ! Only one thing l had a question about, was the use of a metal object to prize away some of the very delicate components held together with a fine flexible cable. I would have preferred to see some sort of rigid plastic object in the shape of the flat screwdriver blade and probe that was used ! Having said that, the Video was detailed to the enth degree and the technician made everything look so logical and straight forward. Thank you so much. Paul
