But you sound like a typical iPhone user who dismisses someone as poor for using iPhone lmao. I hope you work out that some Samsung phones (the ones with way more features than iPhones, mind you) are actually more expensive than iPhones. Most of us in developed countries chose Android over iOS because it’s simply better.
Great phone, best battery life of any phone I've owned I usually still have 60% to 70% battery life after work compared to my Galaxy S8 that would only have 10% to 13% after work. Everything is smooth and fast it's certainly more affordable than ridiculous $1200 -$1500 phones.
I’ve used Apple my whole life, and I think it’s time to switch. Apple is becoming too greedy, and there’s just too much good about Samsung to keep using Apple.
Funny enough when I was speaking to my network provider today while ordering the S20 FE 5G the guy said he's noticed A LOT of people switching from Apple to Samsung this year. Ive never had any Apple product because its always seemed about the money and not really providing much besides the camera but it's nice to see people branch out and try Android out. It's not as bad as some Apple users think lmao.
I'm going to be honest with you, this phone the S20 FE could be better than the new iPhone 12 that's going to reveal tomorrow and by the way I'm thinking about trading my iPhone X for the S20 FE because I want to try and use something new like iPhones in general are basically the same phone with a different camera and that's basically just it.

I agree in what u said. Im the iphone user iphone.. i feel this year apple came out the shit product. And i heard some complaint of iphone 12 got cosmetic issue. Apple also claim the battery life can be optimise with a14 chip but i think is gonna change.. bcoz iphone need to pair with powerbank anywhere 😁😁😁. I already buy samsung s20 fe 5g my 2nd phone.. i feel better and enjoy that samsung to consumer. The last best product is iphone 11 pro max i think. Apple make the worse decision this last year of 2020. Bcoz of that i cancel my plan to buy iphone 12pro max.

If thats the case, than the iphone 11 at 699$ is also a midrange phone I have the s10+, trade in value is $450, making the price 250$, plus a 70$ credit that they give you to put towards another product . HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT !!! And idk why ppl keep brining up the standard s20 for 670 on Amazon, BECAUSE YOU DONT GET A WARRANTY FROM AMAZON. Plus it's 670. Debating between this and pixel 5. S20 FE has a similar camera, better speakers/earpiece, better battery, big screen , 120hz refresh, optical zoom, but never thought about MS GamePass, that I just got, I think I'll get the S20 FE now. Because I'm sure in 2 years , you'll be able to play Xbox Series S/X games on your phone's. Thanks!

@@mmafanatic-tz5or the shutter delay is still there, although I think it's a software issue because the 865 is a beast. I don't take very many selfies but the rear cameras are great. Honestly, unless you want 8k video they're basically the same as the Galaxy S20.
@@onebignonfish if you like Bulky cases, there's one from supcase on amazon for 20 bucks. Otterbox has a 50 dollar option. Spigen also has a clear and matte black case for 11.99 each.
I'm not so sure Michael 🤔I've got the s9+ and not been blown away by the FE, maybe I expected too much, camera is good, speakers not so esp listening to music, but ok for RU-vid etc.. Not sure whether to return it!
@John Rock it hasn't made my breakfast John😆 i can't quite put my finger on it, it's maybe I'm just still happy with my s9+ but have been considering an upgrade this year (and nearly went with the Sony 1 ii,) it doesn't seem a lot quicker than the s9 even though I have the 865 (5g)a little laggy sometimes. The speakers don't sound great on music playback even though I've adjusted settings..in fairness,screen is good, camera pretty good also, nice weight,quite light👍
@@99AmethystZJ Im in the exact same situation. Had my S9+ and bought an S20 FE 4g last week. The exynos isnt really a probleen. Battery is okayish and speed is fine but it gets hot easily. It switches to 60 hz when hot and that really irritated me. My biggest problem was with the sound. It somehow isnt as full as i want it to. Bass isnt as deep and highs arent as crisps with bluetooth speakers and my Galaxy Buds Live. My s9+ had way better sound. Ive returned the S20 FE and im now back to my S9+ and ill keep using it till i see a worthy upgrade. Still has awesome speed, camera and screen but battery sucks.
$700 phone with 120hz and 4500mmA battery, sounds promising! Unlike that one fruit company makes you pay over $1200dollar without a single charger with small ass battery and 60hz refresh rate.
Currently have a 9s with cracked screen and due an upgrade on at&t. Was thinking about the lg velvet or the A71 5g. Now I'm also thinking about the s20 fe. Don't know what to do. Maybe flip a coin! Any thoughts? Thanks.
Bad advice. It's flawed and the HR10+ is faulty Recording on the phone and local playback on the phone as well. Playback on youtube from uploading the HDR10 videos and playing back existing HDR10 content on youtube. Does. Not. Work.
Early days but I am loving this phone so far. Coming from the 2018 A8. I got the blue, really didn't care about the colour because I use a wallet case. My biggest worry was the size, in fact this is one reason I chose this over the larger but cheaper A71. But it doesn't feel huge to me, it feels just right. The hole punch threw me off at first but now I hardly notice it. The price was right, the S20 is much more expensive where I am. And the plastic, don't care!

@@dvrffcl Haptic feedback felt solid, but I am coming from a 5 year old phone so I don't think I'm the right person to comment on that. Sadly I ended up returning it because I was having issues with the screen (ghost inputs). The problem wasn't overbearing, but it was annoying the few times it happened....I just feel that if my old crappy phone's screen worked properly this one should as well. If Samsung fixes the issue I will gladly pick it up at a later time, everything else about the S20 FE is awesome.
@@nuwanperera2055 is the 4g version that had with the zxynos chip or however you spell it? I won’t be using data as I am home slot but having a 5G phone worries me due to health reasons but I guess if I’ve 5G turned off it won’t affect me.
@@seanbarnes9550 I use my iPad for FaceTime mainly. Think I’d miss iMessage with my kids. Also are photos safe on Samsung? When I left Samsung I lost so many photos when it all transferred to iPhone, old photos too, I was devastated. I never knew how to access Samsung cloud.

Maybe a stupid question but still... Do this newer Samsung devices without the 3,5mm jack support those USB-c converters/adapters for 3,5mm jack headphones? I dont want to use bluetooth headpones cuz I sometimes want to use headphones for 10 or 12 hours at work and I dont want to charge them. Maybe I should just stick with s10 for a couple more years?
I found out about this just yesterday. Yes, there is an adaptor that plugs into the type C port. A Samsung one over here (NZ) costs nz$20. Then there's all the cheaper ones below that. I'd been dismissing all phone models without a headphone jack while looking for a replacement phone. One tech guy pointed out how easy it is to work around. Hope that helps 😊
Have it since yesterday. FE means For Everyone 😁👍 it's realy a fantastic device ! The back feels like glass,so pretty premium. And it's better then glass,the risk of breaking.
i would like this phone for its flat display, and also improved batterylife becouse of its 1080p display that looks just as fine as quadhd with 4500mah battery
I had it in my hands and it feels good and not like glass that gives me lots of anxiety and doesn't let me feel the experience, but yet again I end up putting bulky cases.
Under 700€ and have 120hz great. Apple will release iPhone 12 but without 120hz. And next year only the Pro will have 120hz and will cost more than 1k€....Oh Apple.
Most people don’t care about 90hz vs 120hz, don’t care about 765G vs 865, and DEFINITELY don’t care about 4080mAh vs 4500mAh. They care about reliable software that will last and be regularly updated, along with better camera. The S20 FE is for enthusiasts who love these features like us.
DholocronKeeper This is true, but a lot of people will just come across this phone and buy it. Why? Because they know Samsung and feel like they are a really reliable company just because they’re popular. Many people don’t even know Google makes phones or that their phones are any good. 🤦♂️🤷🏻♂️

Also, Samsung promised 3 years of OS updates and one more year of security patches so sorry buddy the Pixel is irrelevant and Google failed to provide good value, heck even Apple will provide a better one with 12 Mini. Edit: Oh yeah just realized even the 4a 5G offers a better value lol.
Boah just because Samsung promised updates doesn’t mean that they’ll arrive on time. Sure, these phones will get 3 years of software updates, but will they be to android 12 and 13? Samsung was not at all specific in their announcement. And also, night mode and certain scenes on the S20 FE apparently just aren’t as good, according to several reviewers. I can’t confirm this, but I believe it. Sure, Samsung has features for days, but it just doesn’t have the core functionality of pixel.

On sale in Europe right now with service provider Orange for just 450 euros (Snapdragon, 5G, 6GB RAM, 128GB memory). At 450 euros (instead of 759 euros RRP), a total no-brainer.
I don't recommend FE. My brother bought it few days ago. There are many more differences and cut corners in the FE in comparison to S20, which nobody talks about. You will not get earphones and superfast charger in the box. The phone doesn't even support super fast charging, 15W maximum. Phone uses awful optical fingerprint sensor, which is slow and innacurate, doesn't work 60% of the time (it's so annoying you won't use it). It has 120hz refresh rate, but doesn't use 200hz super responsive touchscreen and you can feel the difference (especially in ponch zoom). It also doesn't come with haptic vibration. Front camera has more megapixels, but worse quality and doesn't support autofocus. I own regular S20 and it's a huge difference. I would never buy FE!
Just got this phone on a T-Mobile special through Costco. $699.99 less $600.00 - so $4.12/month for 2 years as new subscriber. I got that lovely blue. Wife got the mint green. I was wringing my hands over getting that plastic case as I looked through the clear plastic cover that I bought. I said to myself - "Who cares what the case is made of?"

Ok so here is what I've gathered, the s20 fe is newer, has ip rating, has great cameras, a full pro mode for photography and videography with raw support, wireless charging . The S10 lite has 6.7 inch screen, sd855. Ya I'm just as confused as you are now, I was literally trying to help you and now I'm confused. Well here the S10 lite is cheaper. In the end for me atleast it's all about software updates. Stay safe bud and if you get any good replies based in s20 fe vs S10 lite please let me know ok bud.
@John Rock is the exynos 990 so bad, anyhow its on flagship smartphone too right? The comparison only get confusing as the s20 fe has ip68 rating & wireless charging which is missing on s10 lite. Rest of feature are okish for me. I was hoping to get the sd865 version but yet again samsung ditched us.
I think this year was the worse for iphone 12 made bcoz of cosmetic problem and budget to give the adaptor charger and earphone. Battery life worse and everything just plus for lidar on its camera. I already buy new samsung s20 fe 5g i think so worth it with great feature and great chip set ever with 5g. Full recommended for this phone.. samsung appreciate for everyone. They do something good for voice of consumer. Stay with my iphone xs and my s20 fe 5g as my 2nd phone wait until new iphone reveal the next phone.
My only con is watching movies when the screen is dim. The blacks and shadows turn to absolute MUD. At first I thought something was wrong with my screen. Nope. It's just the nature of amoled. Still a great device I just wish android apps were more optimized but I understand, there's just to many devices let alone screen sizes and processors ect. One UI is getting better.
The S20 FE 5G has the latest and new unbelievable failure ghost tap screen 1.0. Samsungs newest creation in having much fun. Designed and tested for a great user experience you never had in you're life.
I would definitely say YES! I have been doing couple of research myself to decide which mobile to purchase and came across lot of users complaining of overheating and quick battery drain. Also when you look at the benchmarks the performance from SD865 is way better than exonys. It's a bad move from Samsung to use less capable exonys chips instead of SD and more important restricting SD versions to only certain countries.

@ 03:50 audio is more inclined towards left side in the recorded test video from the front camera. Is it because you blocked the microphone with your hands? or does it have an issue?
