Agree, nice review. I'm an Android user, and I actually have an S21. But I get iphones for family members, for reasons particular to their use cases. I'm tempted by the iphone mini for myself. I'd add to negatives about the S21: I don't think its video quality is as good as iphone video. The S21 camera is good, but it suffers in color science in indoor low light situations. Samsung software is clunky and suffers with hidden processes running in the background. The S21 may have some thermal throttling issues, I've noticed decreased benchmark performance right after the mild heat generated during charging.

@@blasien1 Camera is subjective. iPhones take artifical-looking pictures. Just look at the skin. It looks digital. Also the iPhone can not handle video when outdoors IF you're also walking around. The sky starts to flicker. The S21 does not have those problems. Whatever problem I can fix, I can live with. But if there are problems that can not be fixed, then that's a show-stopper. Throthling occurs on ALL phones. Check Golden Reviewer for systematic tests with demanding games like Genshin Impact across all popular smartphones. The iPhone 12 Pro Max scoring an average of 40FPS (it throthled down from 60FPS-stable to ~40 and below) whereas the competition hits 50-60FPS is an interesting finding for instance. The competition is also not able to run that game at a sustained 60FPS though!

Its a pretty damn good phone. Only thing I'm hating samsung this time around is the fact that they're basically removing the most important feature of the samsung cloud. Ability to store photos. They're forcing you to move over to onedrive by June 2021

@@Marwee yeah that's the good thing about Google photos, they'll back up your phone as soon as you log into your Gmail on a device. Only thing I hate of Google photos is that if you delete a picture on Google photos it also deletes it on your phone. Wish you could remove that.

But I mean if you have already spent all of your money on things like the Apple Watch, MacBook And other products in the ecosystem I think it’s harder to just abandon all of that for an android even though it is better. Apple traps you like that so I understand why they don’t switch. I have no idea why they bother with the reviews then, It’s really annoying.

@@reegansumares9769 even for me I was severely in the ecosystem with my iPhone, apple watch, macbook and iPad. But I still fully switched to android just because I couldn't handle the lack of features in the software and hardware despite always being jailbroken on my iPhone. It is hard to abandon it but very much worth it

Apple is just better at Software, aesthetic, and design. Yea android is better in hardware, but that’s also cuz Apple is a software company and Samsung is a hardware company. But I generally like the IPhone more. I just moved to an 11. I might just go back to use a Samsung cuz my parents have them and the more features. But I’m definitely gonna stil stick with my IPhone bc of iMessage, FaceTime, and many of my Friends and family use IPhone. I’ll just keep my Android around as a spare and phone to show off.

@@YoNiiKam I'm a lifelong android user who finally bought a MacBook. Now I see the benefit of iphone because of the ecosystem. But without the ecosystem/imessage I think android is better for one specific reason; on Android OS I can use gestures/dedicated button to go back from any screen or in any app. Also haptic feedback during texting feels great on Android. Both of those features are missing from iOS.

Use samsung's echo system their one of the best. We even have TV's and fridges lol

So even when other companies come out with way better devices u will still be with them, good for Apple but kinda bad for the consumer in the long run. But good thing ur liberating yourself from the ecosystem.

Experience apple ecosystem and u will see how ppl get stuck it becomes like reaaalllllyyy convenient to use ur devices

@@ShubhamYadav-et2rz It's all a question of choice at the end but I experience the openness of Android and the ability to customize almost everything to my liking and I personally will not switch to iPhone. I don't consider me anti-Apple but I prefer to have the choice of constructor for my mobile device.

My garmin functions as a decent smartwatch with awesome fitness tracking where my fitbit functioned purely as a fitness tracker. I think fitbit has some smartwatches now though, so you could look into those as well. On the other hand if you enjoy your gear S3, I don't see the need for a seperate fitness tracker.

Can say the same about samsung addicts, apples os has never failed me and I really am not a tinkerer, well, as a ipad 4 owner I guess I have no say in this

Broke my android phone two weeks ago and got to borrow an old iphone 6s plus from my brother. At first it felt strange, but i really like it and will buy the next iphone i september. There is something about how apps work on this phone, compared to android that just feels better. Snapchat, instagram and tik tok feels smoother and faster, and thats when comparing my dads samsung (the one before s21) to this old iphone, so i feel like that says something. I’ve always been against the blind love for apple, and when looking at the specs some of the new androids have always been better, but idk, IOS feels good.

@Joseph Ballin apps work better on the iphone too. Every social media app is MADE for iphone, and even though its genetally not that big of a deal that snapchat filters lag on android, or you instagram pics look a little grainy, when you’ve felt it on IOS there is no going back

Fr, last year I had the iphone 11 and it made me so socially pressured and concious and I was so scared to go back to samsung because I thought that if I didn't have an iphone then people will not think I'm cool anymore, and that's such a horrible mindset to have. I switched back to samsung before it got worse lol

Agreed. I gave up on th' iPhone @ the 7. Hated the combo charge/headphone thing. I've had samsung a71 for nearly 2 years. Easily adapted to it. Like it very much. Still haven't replaced the iPad or apple watch yet, but definitely going to! (iPad currently in the shop after 6-months of use! 😠) Still looking for watch replacement; considered all watch-style smart-items. Haven't found anything yet. Glad to be out of apple ecosystem.

I’m currently in the Apple ecosystem. Though, I’m also keeping myself from being trapped by using third-party apps, in which I’m thankful that iOS finally does choice for default apps. This is so that if an Android strikes my fancy, I would easily be able to switch.

It does heat up if u play games for a longer time but overall its an amazing phone

Samsung usually has huge promos such as accessory credits if you pre-order at full price. If you wait a month they usually get rid of promos and heavily discount with each release cycle.

Exactly, I got an iphone X to test it out. Usually, I'm low-key a phone nut so when I get a new one I'm tempted to make it my main, but... I just couldn't. The setting's menu feels like a mess, got too much going on, I hate the phone gestures, and I had a situation where I forgot my code and had to go through hell to unlock it. XD

@@leDespicable i don’t really see it as a problem in America. Everyone can see the pros and cons of each company’s devices and features and then choose whatever they want. Neither one is perfect there’s good and bad things about both its just a matter of which one suits you the best. I don’t see why people get so worked up about it though lol but it is funny when they do from either side. Myself i have a iPhone XS Max but i think its great when people buy Samsung phones too. Competition favors the consumers

I switched to S21 from IPhone 11 best thing I ever did. I was worried LED screens bug my eyes. Not the S21 any of the apple LED screens I get an instant headache. Doubt I'll return to apple phones in the foreseeable future.

use nova launcher and your phone can be as easy to operate as u like ,android is 100% customisable , i bought my grandma a samsung tablet not a ipad because it can be made easier to use

But in terms of OS, One UI keeps winning, maybe IOS has like 2 updates more but no one keeps their phone for more than 4 years lol

Too resticrive, most of the things you do on Android you Simply can't do on ios, even some simple action and other don't make sense. I don't know if It was me but trust me, stay with oneplus. I just make my friend (an iPhone user from iPhone 4) buy a Samsung s21 and he never coming back.

@ozayevable if you fall into apple ecosystem its hard to go back into any other devices. For example, if you have an imac or ipad but have an android phone, you will loose many benifits from the mac or the ipad, so you will automatically buy their iphone and slowly you will also buy their accesories like i-watch, air pods, ect...(which,most of them only works with apple devices). And after sometime if you want to buy an android phone or tab or a windows lap, all of these stuff will be useless so you have to buy another bluetooth earphones and other stuff which works with the android or windows, which means more money. (I recommend buying bluetooth earphones from companies like jbl, bose, sony, ect.. which will work with any device). But if you bought an android phone like the new s21 its easy for you to switch to other brands like oneplus, google, even apple.

@@jayjohn223 thing with Samsung ecosystem for example is that it works with other brands too, the Apple watch doesn't work with other phones for example, but the Galaxy watch does, the Galaxy buds no matter which one you get has the quick connection feature and the pop up that tells you the devices battery and its own companion app to tweak anything you want about the buds on any Android phone, if you get the airpods you loose any extra functionality that's available on iOS and the example just goes on, Apple is not very friendly with multiplatform users, it doesn't have to be closed to work great on their products and other companie's products
