@@bigdrews4360 I haven't figured this out yet either. However I do think in the camera settings there is a setting to convert the video to be compatible with Apple so then if you send it to somebody with an iPhone it won't be all blurry

@@bigdrews4360 use whatsapp or any third party messaging app. "bluebubbles" app also works now so you can have imessage on android, and send/receive iphone messages to all your friends who have iphones. So its basically having an android, with imessage installed!

This was a really good comparison! I was so surprised that Samsung took away the MST capabilities. When I had a Samsung phone before, I would always love showing that feature off in stores, especially when the cashier would say "We don't support it". Also had some throwbacks to my high school days from the Dana Point shots!

MST is being phased out globally. It has been banned in EU since September 2019 due to being deemed not safe enough. Several other countries have followed. If Samsung remove it on US market Samsung is informed that it's likely to disappear relatively soon in the US as well.

I have both, I’ve recently have been testing the S21U, and it’s great but man the camera is inconsistent. The shutter speed is still an issue especially if you try to capture things that move a lot like kids or dogs. The software experience is getting better and the Ultra feels better to hold in the hand imo. If you use Zoom and macro a lot it’s great in that aspect but overall the Max’s camera beats it. Samsung one ui is slowly becoming more refined but if you know about the “ios” experience, it’s still not there yet.

This was very common with the previous iphones, except it got worse with the iphone 12. Which is weird cuz their chip is supposed to be more powerful and better than the previous models, yet it went completely downhill with their camera.

Great Video...I've been using the S21 Ultra for a week now and I have to say that this is the best phone that Samsung has made and I've had just about all of them including the Note series. for the first time I'm using stock Samsung Launcher and it feels great. The phone is like having an iPhone on steroids! it just needs a few tweaks on the video and it really needs to do something about the bloat wear from carriers, at least on the flagship models!

@@Koolikoo I think you need to pick up a S21 and try it for yourself. What I found is that RU-vidrs like to pick apple because it gets them more views and they don't say many had things because they don't want the backlash. Everywhere I go people ask me about my Samsung phones and they always like them but they're afraid to either leave the apple ecosystem or afraid of not being in the cool crowd. I've taken pictures of people and sent it to them and they thought I took the pic on an iphone.

I get it, but consider this. Look at 12-16gb of ram for a desktop or laptop. Now look at it for a phone. Pretty damn big size difference. You pay for size. If you believe that isn't justifiable, well, just carry your desktop/laptop around with you with a caller application ;p Skype can do phone calls for you.

I've bought my first apple device a few weeks ago which was that new iPad air and it is flawless, was thinking of getting a Mac when the new ones release so it would make sense to get an iPhone but instead I got this ultra 😂 I was actually thinking of swapping it to the 12 pro max but after experiencing 120hz I don't know anymore haha

I never quite got the “being hooked to Apple ecosystem” thing. You don’t have to use apple’s Icloud, you can use google drive or microsoft onedrive or whatever. You can stream music/video with google chromecast. I have a Nvidia Shield (android tv), and it plays fine with my iphone. Then again, I’ve never had much trouble switching ecosystems... just takes a short learning curve, maybe some data transfer, and that’s it. Might be just my brilliance though. lol! :)

If you are using apple devices to do everything else then it's best to stay on apple. Otherwise if you are switching to android buy a PC. The apple ecosystem is a joke and preys on people who have no clue that android and windows accomplishes every single feature. Apple purposely makes their devices not interact or not play well with non-apple devices. It's a trick they do to keep you in even if you try to break away. So if you use a android phone but nearly everything else is apple, it's not the andoid's fault for why everything is so cumbersome, it is Apple's. So again if you are switching then switch entirely. Get a pc to pair with that android device. Win10 with a Microsoft account will allow you to answer calls, texts, send files wirelessly and effortlessly from your android. Not to mention all editing programs for videos have similar or better programs. The only thing apple truely has over everyone else is their laptop track pads. That's it but that's also losing ground now since most laptop vendors as well as MS are addressing that. Let it be known you will fail switching off of apple if everything else you are using is apple besides your smart phone. It's by Apple's design for you to fail that way.

@@justinanderson181 a lot of people think Android is all about customization only. Android works with everything. literally everything. Not to mention it has more emulators than iOS which i use all the time. iOS is too restricted and i don't see the benefit of that now that Android has gotten better at polishing. To each their own but iOS to me is over simplified and too restrictive. The simplest of things you should be able to do with a smartphone just isn't available on iphones.

1. The comments could be from international users. IPhone is probably most popular here in the US 2. IPhone users are not the type of people to ever watch videos like these. I upgraded to an S21 Ultra from a regular S10 as well and it was WELL worth it. I only upgrade once every 2 year's because the jump in specs and design feel like a much bigger improvement when you wait every 2 generation's.

it's because iphones mostly only upgrade the processor and camera every year and there really isnt much of a generational feature difference from the previous year. Meanwhile, a lot of features and design pop up in the android market, which makes people want to buy new stuff most of the time. people who bought the iphone 11 pro max, wouldnt mind keeping the 11 pro max for the 12 pro max because there isnt really a big reason to upgrade knowing that the new iphones dont even have a 120 hz refresh rate

S21 or 12 pro max. Both phones seem to be headed towards the same direction. Reduce features accessories and provide incremental upgrades. None of these phone are revolutionary coming from last year. It’s not surprising from Apple when they cut off a charger or headphone jack but Samsung used to be the guys who’d put the most in a phone and now they have no sd card, charger, headphones, base price at 1300$. Props: Atleast we can hold on to a phone for 3-4 years without feeling left behind

Who wouldn't want their phone to have a 10x zoom?(okay, I'm biased, as I've just got the Ultra, but a 10x optical zoom very quickly becomes essential, once you've used it for an hour-or-so)

I bought the 12 pro max but, it’s because I trust in apple and the quality, i think the s21U has better camera cause has more options. Photos look awesome in both devices. I super happy with the 12Pro Max (graphite).

I can notice the Samsung being a little brighter witch I like. I have a s20 plus that I'm happy with n don't think the s21 plus is a upgrade minus flat panel witch I like. Loosing the SD card was stupid imo. I been traveling over old photos on SD card for years. Great video !

I have a note 10 plus, and I don't think I need to upgrade for a while. I like having the microSSD and they removed that feature from the flagship ._. I hate iCloud, cause it filled up so quickly from random stuff from my iPhone 4S. So I prefer not to have things on a cloud. Idk how I will cope when it's time to "upgrade" lol. I like to keep the photos all on my SSD so I can keep them on each phone without having to transfer everything each time.

@@Alucard171 no. Nfc and mst are very different payment types. If a merchant has an old card reader the mst tech will mimic a card swipe. Nfc requires a special tech for transactions to work.

I am use to both systems but for me I went for the iPhone 12 Pro Max as my daily driver. It all comes down to what suits the user. I like simplicity. Yeah I can’t do what the S21U5G does but that’s ok. Both have pros and cons they both makes calls and send texts lol. Have a awesome day everyone

the only problem i have with youtubers that they never talk about the gifts samsung gives you ($250) worth in store credit. but i do know if apple was doing promos like that they would for sure bring up the gift . like i told my friend give me the 200 samsung gave you and i'll give you a brand new charging brick and headphones lol he said hellnahhh lol

Not a mega Apple fan (have just moved back to iPhone after 3 years on android for full disclosure) but some odd choices in this video for me. Price being $100 more was glossed over in a way that it wouldn’t be for the other way around, I challenge anyone to REALLY notice the display refresh rate (coming from a 90Hz to 60Hz) and 10x zoom is a useful niche feature but how many times do use that in real world? I feel like the “wins” for Samsung were sung nice and loud whilst the “wins” for Apple were pretty much dismissed...

Couldn’t agree more Josh. When Apple do release the 12s Pro Max or whatever it will be called and have the 120 Hz refresh rate, i have no doubt it will be the best implemented and optimised out of all phones just like it is on the iPads. I remember... iPhone not having the 5G on the iphone 11 series and how slower the intel chipsets were. There were big deals made by reviewers about this. Now that Apple has 5G, no one really talks about it anymore. From using my 12 Pro Max next to my wife’s 11 Pro Max, my god the wifi, 4G are just on another planet. 5G is just amazing. I can honestly blame intel for that and am grateful apple have switched back to Qualcomm.

MST is being phased out. It's not even allowed anymore due to it not being safe enough. In EU it has been banned since September 2019 with many more countries followed since. Most likely US will stop using MST sometime closely after Covid crisis.

I'm leaving android for the fact I have to pay to listen to my music now that they integrated it into RU-vid. I know I can use other apps but that's not the point. Samsung is making me give up my SD card and headphones jack. At this point it's better to go with the iPhone. Samsung used to give us everything and now they are just following suit with Apple. I guess if you can't beat them, join them because that's exactly what Samsung did.
