I truly believe both Samsung and Apple add titanium only to justify the insane pricing. Titanium sounds fancy, yet it's dirt cheap in such quantities (about 5-6 USD per kilogram).

Samsung did the titanium better, however the essential phone was the first phone to have a titanium frame. Apple and Samsung just followed along.

Number of years of Android and security updates is welcome, but that's balanced by Samsung's fine print which pretty much says that they're only letting their buyers of the new "Ai"-featured phones use those features free for a specified period of time, and after that date passes, users of these new features on these phones will have to negotiate a paywall type system in order to continue to use them. End of 2025 is one cutoff date for "free" use is one that I've seen more than once from the tech blog websites. Hopefully Samsung will reverse course on this 'free (for awhile, anyway)' nonsense which will not make their customers any too happy.

Something I’d like to share, the kpop group that appears in the commercial is called Tomorrow By Together (TXT for short) and something that I found interesting… most of the members had iPhones before but now all of them have Galaxy phones, also every time an Apple device appears on camera (like Macs, iPads, iPhones and so on) they censor it but not the Samsung devices, and they appeared on this commercial, kinda weird… right? 😅

Al the AI features are only available for free during 2024, after that, they are going to charge a subscription. Imagine paying a thousand plus dollars for a phone just for it to have DLC and paywalls.

S24 is wifi 7, blue tooth 4.3, better battery life and cooling, improved optical stabilization, improved 50MP camera sensor, AI chip on motherboard for local processing, mature 4k video and better integration and security updates from google
