Yep, I held back for too long because I wanted to give Samsung the benefit of the doubt but no point in holding back anymore. I was actually too nice and left out 2 other aspects I'm not liking too much either. I honestly don't think the 3X optical zoom with a bigger sensor will cut it. 5X-10X optical zoom is my choice. No it isn't the 5x zoom is better quality on S24 Ultra and the older S23 Ultra had horrible over sharpened look and mushy details

​@@seanburns1972The 5x zoom on the S24 Ultra is still awaiting a software update from Samsung to get it working as it ought to. To say it performs better than the 10x zoom on the S23 Ultra flies in the opinion of many tech reviewers and Samsung Members App users who have been saying that the 5x zoom is a pale shadow of the old 10x system in terms of performance. Apparently it will be performing much better in the S25 Ultra. Sharpness wise, the S23 Ultra has adjustable sharpness in The Camera Assistant settings. Setting this to medium completely eradicates sharpness issues. You have obviously never tried this on an S23 Ultra. The S24 Ultra has very bad low light detail problems, including the 'purple mush' issue, which once again Samsung admits to and promises will be corrected in the promised forthcoming camera fix update. The internet is awash with people who have ditched the S23 Ultra for the 24U and bitterly regret it camera-wise.

Get the S23 Plus instead, cheaper than S24 plus but has the same camera system. You get 3x telephoto lens which is enough.

@Soto-Tech2020 thanks to 'ATI' for the content, regarding the S25 Ultra I don't think Samsung will make a revolution of cameras, it is rumored that the 3x will increase in size and resolution next to the ultra wide angle but my opinion, I think it will do Apple's maneuver, increase the ultra wide angle to 50mp and some tweaks there,...

I don't own one, but I don't think it was 'surprisingly ' bad . In most photos there were no discernable differences , only on zoom
