Hey there from Rio de Janeiro! Was "Scene Optimizer" enabled on S24 Ultra in this comparison? Maybe it's the main reason why some colors become saturated and objects sometimes may seem not so natural.

Both phones produce disappointing results, in my opinion. The only reason I would go for the Galaxy is that you can install a (good) gcam on it and get much better results. These two companies are clearly not doing their best, especially when it comes to exposure and details, probably slowing down their improvements to keep something new to improve the following year.

Glad i went for the ultra , the battery life / screen on time is very great than my previous 13 pro m

16:35 Samsung's skinton is better in all portraits. in all portraits, the apple pancake is white without tonal transitions I don't need Apple's dynamic range at the price of skinton degradation. as far as I know, the retouching that the iPhone does does not turn off in the phone itself. Unless you turn on Pro mode and shoot in RAW

5:00 this is not a fair comparison u clearly forgot autofps off for 60fps videos on the s24 ultra.. the iphone is clearly reducing fps for better exposure while the s24 ultra is running at 60fps

What i think the iphone is doing when zooming is that it is cropping from the current sensor until it reaches the required zoom then switching. While the samsungs shift the cameras instead of cropping from the current sensor.

It's still pretty close... i'd go for the iPhone Bcs I've been on Samsung for the past 3 out of 4 phones. And video quality is more important to me. But in the end, cannot go wrong with either. I think Vivo x100 Ultra is overall better than both

A very realistic test this. No fakery to favour one device over another. They are both FAR from perfect in terms of photography, and a Chinese flagship would embarrass them. I think Apple is even stagnating in terms of video, and it's lead in terms of overall quality is now miniscule. It still beats the S24 Ultra in video. The S24's video quality in this test was abysmal in low light, and a real backwards step from that shot by my S23 Ultra on so many levels. Samsung has been promising 'big' camera improvements via software updates for poor long suffering S24 Ultra owners for too long now. Many are losing patience.

1. Front cam video iPhone crazy over-exposure, dynamic range is broken , colors looks too bright. Probably They decide to put more priority brightening face. But IMO result are very bad. Samsung keep exposure on aceptable result, but in same time, not losing details on higher dynamic range. The colors are a bit more saturated - but they not go crazy, with good taste. 2. Voice recording quality Both phones doing very well. IMO iPhone better than previous generation. But Samsung voice abit more clear. iPhone record more bass. 3. Front cam night video I don't like both. Samsung oversaturated, and iPhone desaturated colors, but it's usable. Samsung too dark.. that's why iPhone win. 4. Zoom video and photo Samsung 90% the way. More details more sharpness, very good stabilization. iPhone very smooth transitions between lenses. But it is not most important. Idk how other people, but Me personally 90% of the time use in day time.. and Samsung when have enough light make it very very good. But Samsung should improve camera at night. iPhone very smooth transitions between lenses. More important is what We doing more often. Personally i not zoom in and zoom out all the time.

I was pretty sure they are lens defects (I see them on the lower left and right end) and now I've heard you say it is a focus issue. Can you please ellaborate more? Thanks for sharing We've reached a point where the level of camera quality is so high on both devices that it's simply difficult to tell which is better.I think it's a matter of taste in the interpretation of colors and dynamic range of each one.Personally I like the Galaxy S24 Ultra better.

The samsung raw is a kind of fake raw. If you use Lightroom's Denoise feature, you will not be able use it with the samsung raw. The 50 and 200mp is over post processing, even in Expert RAW app. And we can't disable it.

I AM USING S24 ULTRA FROM 3 MONTHS 1.200MP AND 50MP COLOUR SCIENCE AND DETAILS ARE BAD 2. SHUTTER LAG 3. 1X NIGHT PHOTO COLOUR SCIENCE IS BAD 4. 10X IS TRASH 5. MOTION BLUR 6. NIGHT VIDEO IS TRASH , THE FRAMES DROP IN 4K60FPS, NO MATCH TO I-PHONE VIDEOGRAPHY. S24U RELEASED IN Q1 , NOW IT'S Q3 ENDING AND NO FIXES YET, WORST COMPANY
