Bought the 6lite in 20, getting some screen burn thru and my video editing app crashes, rarely use the spen, bought the a9+ 128 ,impressed with it so far🎉😊
Spot on review. Tye s pen is great but its as good the usi stylus on Chromebooks and thats ok . I woupd personally recommend the a 9 plus it will last longer and i felt like the s 6 lite 2022 model was a little sluggish
If you're talking the Tab S6, yes, it will be slightly better than the S9 FE. But I still would go away from a Tab S6 with the current updates. If you're talking about the Tab S6 Lite, the S6 Lite has a lower resolution when compared with the Tab S9 FE. It may allow you to watch video at UHD, but again, it's watching UHD video on a screen with a lower resolution, it doesn't mean they are hiding a higher resolution, that video still has to be display on a lower resolution screen, so it's still going to be worse. I still stand by that the S9 FE has a better screen, even if it's not by too much.
s6 lite 2024 with newer exynos 1280 and android 14 is faster hardware performance than a9+ but other specs like refresh rate etc a9+ is better. Just pointing out if you are like me and performance is important.
Don't feel like you need to rush to that type of upgrade though. You have the flagship tablet from years ago. It has an AMOLED screen. These tablets don't have AMOLED screens, and the processing power is great for a 229 tablet, but remember that your tablet had the highest processor for its time. So in some ways this may be a slight downgrade from your Tab S6. You will get something a little bit newer though, you will probably get a little bit of a better battery life, but no s pen. Just keep all that in mind. Unless you go up to a Tab S9, you're going to have some downgrades and some upgrades, depending on what Device you choose
Correct me if I'm wrong the but the "A" series tablets do NOT offer Samsung DEX. And this alone puts them at different levels if you want that "desktop" experience! DEX works really well and mult-window is WAY better on DEX than the ONE UI at any version. If you have this plugged into a an external monitor or display DEX is far superior for multi-tasking. I still use the ORIGINAL TAB S6 with the OLED display and is also far better than the ISP/LED displays. So me personally am NOT sold on these sub-par tablets. Just my opinion!
@@ramybbb Huh? I have NOT read that anywhere and as far as I knew DEX was ONLY offered on Galaxy "S" model phones just like wireless charging...I personally use DEX at work via. a USB cable everyday as well as at home.
Very good video. I'm getting the regular A9 to replace my son's A7 Lite, because the price is the same here in the Philippines, but the performance boost is massive. Still, this A9+ is awesome.
Hello, thank you very much for such a detailed comparison! Very timely for me. After this video, I decided that I would buy the a9+. It’s just a pity that the a9+ only produces 1080p video quality on RU-vid, and the sound of the s6 lite will most likely be more rich due to the AKG. Although I didn't hear him. But 4GB of Ram memory will not be enough with an eye to the future. Thank you for your work!
I have both, the sound is almost the same since they both have dolby support. The a9+ is louder thanks to the extra speakers, it also has a bit more bass.
@@MrGeforcerFXI am a student, and I'm planning to buy a tablet for my school documents, reading documents, ebooks, and watching films/Netflix or RU-vid (I don't mind digital notes; I prefer the traditional way 😅) Should I buy the A9 + or S6 LITE? Your insights will be invaluable 😊
@@lovelygocela6164 well if your main thing is Netflix then you can opt for s6 as it has a s pen top but as you don't intend on taking digital notes you are free to choose any as both have one up and down grade thing just wait for an offer and grab what suits your price 😊
What do you think will recieve updates? S6 or A9+??? Love the spen for s6 but only 4gb ram I don't know if it can handle some coding apps. For a9+ it can be 8gb ram and 128gb rom and I can just but universal stylus and palm rejection gloves for illustration. They are almost the same price so I'm kinda confused. What processor is really the best one? Pleaseee T_T
Pretty identical processor, maybe the S6 Lite has a slight edge because of the gpu performance. They will both receive about the same updates. You may prefer to get the palm rejection gloves or something, I don't like universal stylus's so if I want a pen I pick the S6 Lite if I want more ram I go with the A9+. Very close call though.
It looks like they are close in price. So you really just need to watch the video to make your own decision on it too. Simply put , The A9 plus is slightly better if you don't need an s pen. But it's only slightly better. So if you really want that stylus, get the s6 lite
Help me, I wanna buy s6 lite 2024 edition but I got confused. After this review I wanna buy it for college and watch series taking notes and study that's it What would u recommend for me ???? And i want something bigger, cheap, and a lot of GB
The s6 Lite 2024 will probably be more similar to the A9 Plus.. as far as power and things like that. So I think that would be a good option for you. If you could swing it, it's best to get something like the S9 FE, or S9 FE Plus (has a bigger size), or even the S8 Plus on the used market (also bigger. The S9 FE Plus and S8 Plus are two of the better devices to get. But obviously they will cost more. The S6 Lite models are the smallest, 10.4 inches. But they come with the S pen and that may be preferable if you want a pen. So I'd recommend, in this order. S9 Plus, S8 Plus (maybe used), S9 FE Plus, S9 FE, S6 Lite 2024 (only if you want an s pen), A9+. In that order, but price is probably a big factor. Obviously that may rule out half of these for you. That's why I rated them in order based on what you wanted
@AndroidDigest I wanted S8, but for my budget It's super expensive . so now I decided to buy a ( s6 Lite 2024 edition ) Cause it's cheaper and I want the s pen it will help me a lot in my study Thanks a lot for answering me 🙏🏻🖤
The Samsung has a much faster processor. Normally Lenovo really packs a punch at this price. They normally offer a faster experience, just less software updates. But this year Samsung really showed up and released a great device. I would pick the A9 Plus
Question for those who own the A9+ , did you notice any ghosting effects when swiping? On my home screen it is very noticeable when swiping left or right to move between pages, all icons and widgets seem to "smear" with movement and recover when movement stops. On my old A7 tablet such ghosting effects is almost inexistent. I don't know if this is "normal behavior" for this display or it is defective in some way...
Neither have the option built in from my research, and I don't see it on my Tab A9+. But I heard there are alternative apps that can work for the same purpose
The Pad 6 will be better, no doubt. Better battery size, better RAM, better screen. But I'm guessing it's apple's and oranges. I live in the US, so can't compare the prices, but the FE model is a better comparison with the Pad 6. Realistically, the Pad 6 is still a little better spec wise than the Tab S9 FE, but I know Samsung tends to give their devices more updates, more longevity, and then they have Samsung DeX and some other perks I like. Plus the s-pen with the FE model. As far as the A9+, yeah, it's not as good as the Pad 6, but is the Pad 6 more expensive? Even $150 in price extra can get you an S9 FE, and at that point, I'd recommend switching the device you're comparing to, at that point it's a little extra power in the Pad 6, vs an s-pen, dex, and more software updates with Samsung.
