I have Samsung S8 Ultra with Book cover (samsung original), But I am not able to use grammarly not I can use gboard properly. Anyone with similar problem? Any solution?
I got one of these a week-ish ago and have honestly been BLOWN AWAY. People love to poo poo Android as a tablet OS...they must not have used one in years. This thing is a multitasking MONSTER!! It's awesome!!
I love Apple and have a. inch of iPads. They didn’t want to get with the program and make an even larger iPad Pro so I just ordered an S8 14.6”. I expect it to be great even if I just use it to consume media.
@@Image-X That's the vast majority of what I use mine for. (And, let's be real, the vast majority of people use their super powerful, expensive iPad to watch RU-vid and browse Facebook...) It's REALLY good for that.

I've been waiting for your take I was fortunate enough to get the Ultra and I'm still waiting for the keyboard cover to arrive. Your set up videos are always helpful I haven't jumped into setting my Ultra up yet so I'm going to use this video as my guide. I'm still waiting for my ultra after pre ordering it and it should be with me around the 2nd of next month and getting the keyboard cover for free is amazing. Also got the 5g version as I use my tablet for work and having mobile functionality is key for me and my tab s6 has served me very well indeed and is still a fast and capable tablet even today. I've never been a person who uses laptops and the simpleness of a tablet is perfect for me. Downside is in the UK not many accessories available like simple covers and screen protectors. I ended up buying the amazon basics 45w USB c charger ready for the tablet coming and that also has 2 outputs to charge devices via fast charging and ultra charging via the USB c outp. People don't realise how massive the ultra is and when I seen one in the shop I was blown away how big and thin it is. Can't wait.
@@rebirth26 On their site (at least in the US) 5G is only available with the S8 and the S8+. I got the ultra 5G off ebay for a steal. It's a great tablet. I already had a data SIM so I popped it in and took a few tries with t-mobile, but now it runs well.

@@shubh-am. well it is pretty useful if game (or windows 11) emulation is your thing. Plus the more RAM, the more apps opened in the background. Which is pretty important
Great video. I have a tab s8+ and a lot of this works there too. You said a lot about samsung notes, but low key, it does sooooooo much more. I'm a student (in college) and samsung notes let's me do sooooo much it's nuts.

Great job, Jonathon! I just bought one with the Samsung keyboard/cover (had to search a bit for it) and it will take me awhile to learn how to use all its features. I’m bought it specifically for writing so I’m not going to clutter it with all the apps I have on my devices. Now I’m saving for a Samsung tv use with it. Again, great job!!

Damn i just ordered the wifi version and i was so close to get the 5g but i didnt cuz i read somewhere its still not worth to get the 5g so i saved some bucks but now i have some doubts if i should return it and get the 5g

Just got my tab s8 ultra & keyboard cover today. Having used the tab s7+ for the past year or more, the new screen real estate is greatly appreciated. I wouldn't have gotten it without the free keyboard cover and pre-order deals. But as soon as I opened it I was wowed 😍😍. It's big, but doesn't feel TOO big
And if you haven't, you should download and run Samsung's second screen app on your computer to get rid of the black bars on the tab when using second screen

2D face recognition is actually really secure on some devices. I have an Honor V10 here and I use face unlock with it. Even though it doesn't have a 3D or IR face unlock, it will not unlock not matter how much I try to trick it. I have a 27in monitor I play videos of my face or open picture of my portrait and it never ever unlocks.... never. And that device came out since 2018, I think. The only downside is that it's a bit slow compared to recent devices' 2D face unlock. I think the only real downside to 2D face unlock is manufacturers skimping out on really refining it and securing it or unlocking in the dark as you need a substantial light source for it to work well (which this tab has in ample supply with that huge screen)
Really great video. Just got mine with the book cover keyboard. Amazing laptop replacement with a gorgeous screen meaning I can really enjoy watching content. Interested to hear if anyone has had technical issues with the book cover keyboard. Mine went a little hay wire after a few days when the firmware wouldn't update and the backlight kept flashing. Seemed to work but just lost it again as I write this 😢
Love your videos...thanks. Can the colour pallet be set using colours picked by the user rather than colours from wallpapers at all? Can icon packs be used to change the icons too? (there's no theme options on tablets like phones as far as I know)
Unfortunately, no. It is based off of the primary colors in the wallpaper. A work around could be to apply a wallpaper with the colors you’re wanting. Then, apply that palette, then switch back to the other wallpaper.

How exactly do you pair the Tab S8 Ultra and the S22 Ultra together and use the phone as a color palette in Notes coz I'm not getting the option of switch to mobile in the notes app on the tab? FYI, I had connected both the tab and the s22 ultra via Bluetooth. Thanks!
Hmm, it should just pop up in the corner like I showed. I did not connect the S22 Ultra via Bluetooth in advance so maybe erase that connection. Are you logged into your Samsung account on both devices?

FOUND IT! t’s called ‘Collaboration View,’ and Samsung says it allows the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra to sync seamlessly. What does that mean, exactly? In other words, Collaboration View lets Galaxy S22 Ultra customers use the phone as a color palette and toolset in Samsung Notes while turning the large Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra’s screen into a canvas, free of any unnecessary UI elements. S22 Ultra and Tab S8 customers can use the same S Pen across both devices and, likewise, split the functionalities of the same app, i.e., Samsung Notes, across two screens in real-time. It’s a fantastic addition for anyone that may want to use the whole area of the gorgeous 14.6-inch AMOLED display as a digital canvas.

I would like to know if this tablet could replace an older laptop? I have a 2014 MacBook Air with an Intel I seven in my office that I use connected to a larger monitor just for general laptop use and like creative work. Most of what I use it for is working in Canva, checking emails, posting on social media, and editing pictures.

I've installed a storage card for music and movies, for traveling where there's no internet access. What single app would be best to play most common formats??? Hi. I just found out that the only 5G version is on the S8+ and you will be able to make phone calls on it since it will have a simm card slot. But will have to have a cell number attached to it like a phone and of course a new line charge! Bummer cause you would think it would be on the Ultra! The 5G version will also have wifi toggle on it. Guess we'll have to wait for the Tab S9 Ultra??
Jonathan, is it good decision to pick galaxy tab s8 than s8+? Because what i want is a long term use in tablet, what i mean is the screen display, i want Lcd type rather than amoled. Because i hear news that amoled is less durable and lifetime than tft display which tab s8 had. I cannot decide. Is it worth thd galaxy tab s8 for video editing like 4k videos? Thankyou
