I've owned both the Watch 4 Classic and the Watch 5 Pro. No comparison. And, I prefer the touch bezel. An aftermarket band improved the fit, even though the original band that comes with the Pro is very comfortable, if geeky.

You're right about the 5 Pro's durability. I've banged it against metal, and have been shocked at the fact that it hasn't gotten so much as a scuff or scratch.

IMO, we need all 3. Regular, Pro, and classic. The Pro is for when im being rugged, my silver classic with a nice stainless steal band is for the haters. And the regular is people that like that minimalist look.

I traded my Watch 4 Classic for the Watch 6 Classic, silver and a very elegant dressy watch. I then traded my Watch 3 Classic (just sitting in a drawer) for the Watch 5 Pro. With the trade -in values, two newer watches for less than the price of one. We are now leasing devices and locked into the ecosystem. I'm okay with that. Now, as far as battery life. Watch 4C a day and a half. Watch 6C ...2 days. Watch 5Pro still breaking in but 2.5 days maybe. Not a huge difference as I thought it might be at least between the 5Pro and 6C 47mm. 🤔 Anyway, best of both worlds with an elegant dress watch and a durable sports watch. Easy to connect on the fly with both watches and can set up to be identical or different if you want.

I've had my Galaxy watch 5 pro LTE for 1 year. I have never had it last for more than 1.5 days with minimal settings and always on display off. I've carried out many test scenarios. Is it possible the LTE functionality is sapping battery life?

I bought a Samsung galaxy watch 5 pro last November 2022 and it suddenly died last August, it was my 3rd samsung watch. When i brought it to the service center because it is still in warranty period, they said I have to pay €400 because they had to replace almost everything inside and the damage is not covered by warranty. Wth?

10:43 wow, just 5 months later and now I was able to buy an "excellent condition refurbished" Galaxy Watch 5 Pro for only $120 with a one year 3rd party warranty.

I dont get it. How do people get a day plus of battery on the watch 4?? I get 5 to 6 hours when I go for a run lol. Is it bc I gave the lte?

I might be in the minority here but I like the Galaxy Watch 5 pro more than the Watch 4. I absolutely do not mind the lack of a rotating bezel. For me looks take a bit higher stand than functionality and watch 4 does not look as good.

I have to laugh. When peoplea talk about the rotating Bezel being removed its as if the car makers removed the tires and are now making you drive the car on the rims. GET OVER IT.

The I’m coming from previous watches like the 4 classic with the physical bezel - I think I used it like 3 times in thr time I have owned - bezel for me is a non issue

Should I buy sam. watch 5 pro or wait for Xiaomi watch 2 pro??

apple ultra 2 has problem seeing in dark environment.

I would have gotten this watch if it was a smaller version available. I ended up getting the Galaxy Watch 5.

This review s no different from anyone else’s - the rotating bezel which which many comment on is a non issue - I have owned all of the previous models, so Edith’s bezel and some without I have used the bezel maybe three times in each of the other watches. The biggest point with this one is battery life - well worth checking Amazon for refurbs

Man, yours got slow. Either you have a lot of stuff running, or I have something to look forward to. I kinda like the non-rotating bezel myself - folks say it picks up dust and gets crusty after a while. Indeed battery life is great. Without the always-on display, I can get 4 days of regular use. Super solid watch, especially at $200 from Amazon. Paid that for my Galaxy Watch 2 years ago. Since I went there, the bio sensors between the 2 and 5 pro aren't that much improved. That's to say neither is accurate enough to obtain any reliable data - at least when worn at a comfortable setting. Seems like you may have to get the band uncomfortably tight and I'm not going to do that for long. Compass on the 5 pro is awesome!

You shoudl compare it with watch 6 classic too.

I have had my pro for a year too. I didn't know it did all you showed. I miss the rotating basil. I was told when I traded my old watch in for the 5 pro that there was a rotating basil. When I got the watch, I was NOT happy. I think it's Samsung ugliest watch yet. I'm lucky to get 1.5 days battery life without always on. With always on, I'm lucky to squeak out a full day. My BIGGEST complaint is 2 things. When I move my wrist to see the time the screen only comes on about 20% of the time. When I move my wrist, it's because I want tilhe time NOT all the BS stuff like "good job you're moving" or some BS environment crape I don't care about. JUST THE TIME PLEASE...I work outside and up on high places. So whwn I need the time and the face doesn't light up I need to steady myself to tap the screen. Very unsafe in my line of work. Brw, my old watch was equally frustrating. I heard rumor the physical basil was coming back to the pro 6. Well that's not happening. I've been a Samsung fan for years. I've owned 11 phones (5 notes). I have the earbuds for a year and all the black matt has randomly scrarched off. It looks like dogs doo doo. They always lose connection about 3 minutes into using them, making my phone burst with sound in places it should. The watch hardly pairs automatically with my phone and when I want to find my phone, it's not connected (extremely frustrating) I have had the S22 Ultra and it has been the worst phone I've owned. Throughout the 1st & 2nd quarter of this year I was hardly getting reception. Maps kept losing signal, and the YT would drop constantly. I pay for the extended samsung warranty. I called numerous times to Samsungs customer service, well let's just say support stinks. One man told me that I'd have to pay $100 before they'd look at my watch. I knew that was total BS. Finally got a lady that did something that made my watch whole again. Until the last update. Now my phone is a brick again. Oh, I own a samsung washer and dryer, too. I'm seriously considering changing my phone, watch, and earbuds to another company. I say all this, hoping someone at Samsung sees this and takes this under consideration. I've talked to others who are just as frustrated with their S22 ultras, too. To be fair, there is no more customer care from all corporations. It's more or less take it or leave it. We do not care about customer loyalty like the old days. I'm not sure what colleges are teaching anymore.🤔 enough of my 5 chapter rant. Thanks for listening...👍

Why the hell am I first

I have the watch 5, and it sucks, dont buy it, its durable but sometimes integration sucks, the heart monitor gets ridiculous values when im just walking normally, i have made everything possible for it to be accurate. Body composition is also bad, dont trust it. Sleep analysis also sucks. Apple watch is the best and most accurate out there, i deeply regret buying this one.

Watch 5 pro is garbage. I've had mine now since February. The step counter is way, way off. The body composition hardly works. Blood oxygen meter is just a gimmick judging by how inaccurate it is. Wish I never bought it to be honest.
