if Moto was better distributed in other regions of the globe it might have a good shot in being at consumers hands. Sadly they aren't widely available where I am so by default I might have to go with galaxy
Given its past history, Motorola is notorious for being very late with its OS updates. Further, they will only have 3 years of OS updates versus Samsung's 7 years (if one keeps their phone for that long).
I purchased the Flip 6, and I love it. I'm coming from the Note series, and I want the fold 6.... but I got the flip because it was free for me... I purchased the Samsung Flip suite case, and it's so cute.. I have all Samsung products for a Samsung eco system, tablet, buds, laptops, and watch 7.
Thanks for the great comparison. Personally, though I like Motorola's outer screen design better, I choose the Z Flip 6 as I trust Samsung much more when it comes to durability.
If reviewers/users were being completely honest, it would be an even experience on both devices. While the Razr does, on paper, have a bigger cover display, it condenses (auto or manually) to get around the camera bumps, typically when using the keyboard. Even in just scrolling, you still cannot see anything until the screen gets past the camera bump (on that portion of the screen). I think it's a little over exaggerated about how the cover display is "better" on the Razr even though it's obstructed with camera lenses
the chips are not the same samsung has the same snapdragon as other high phones and the motorola has the s version of the chip , both phones are great but the moto has less of a crease on its inner display
