Dr Shivaram please go through the very latest guidelines by RSNA (Radiological society of North America) released last month. They have given a very detailed evidence and consensus based information regarding management of gall bladder polyps.

Polyp size variation in size - 9.9mm in Ultra Sound Scan and CT scan 8.1mm. Which is more reliable and what step can be considered at this stage ?

Does medicine have an answer to the most important question: why polyps occur in the first place? For example why cholesterol polyps occur? With a defined cause you can do proper prevention but if you don't know what is starting the fire only thing you can do is to try and extinguish the fire which is not good.

Kindly suggest further actions on my case and thanks in advance Age - 29 Men, i have been diagnosed with GB polyp since 2017 2021 scan observation - GB is well distended and 2 small sessile polyps measuring 6.6 mm and 3.7 mm 2022 scan observation -GB is well distended and mutliple small sessile polyps ~5 with largest one measuring 6.4mm I dont have any notable symptoms sometimes dull passing pain on lower abdomen which goes away after some time and dont have any family history for GB disease
