Thank you for sharing your experience I will be having this surgery soon and I’m absolutely terrified of going under anesthesia You’ve brought me so much confidence and you’ve eased my fears, I hope you’re doing well since the surgery

I 'm having mine CBD exploration with gallbladder remove on March 24th i am very nervous for surgery. Bt right know I am good , I pray for ur fast recovery. Tace care dear💖
@@renaoneil6752 about 1 hr...recovered mostly within 1 wk, almost fully in 2 weeks, and 100% (could sleep on my belly) by end of 3rd week. 2nd day after surgery was the toughest, as the day of and day after you may still have anesthesia in ur system
It won't be unbearable, but you might be super sore for the first week. For me, it is 2 months since I had that critter removed. On day 7, I walked 2 miles and did a few pullups ( against the doctor's orders lol) I recommend you make some chicken Noodle soup.. make a gallon of it. Include diced Onion, Barley and a can of beef broth.. freeze some of it, so you can at least have good nourishment for the first week. and it i easy on the stomach
I had my gallbladder removed three weeks ago still in recovery I was hospitalized two days prior since I had horrible abdominal pain like a gallbladder attack had emergency surgery it was scary luckily they detected it and got it out 🥺
I got my gallbladder removed like 7 years ago. Constipation was very serious and painful. It was mainly because of reduction in the biles entering the digestive system.
I’m having mine remove on March 30th I am terrified never had surgery. I’ve seen so many bad you tube videos but thank you I think I’m going to try and make your video the last I watch. So I don’t keep freaking my self out more
Thank you! I too made myself more anxious from watching videos. I had my follow up appointment yesterday and everything is good. I think the most important thing is to listen to your body and do what it wants!
Thank you for this. I wish I saw this before my surgery which was 2 days ago. I wouldn’t have worried so much. It hasn’t been that bad for whomever is wondering. Shoulder has been hurting. I’m not going to take oxy anymore. Just Tylenol. Advil hurts my stomach. Overall not bad.
I’m on day 4 in my recovery and the shoulder pain finally seems to be gone. Feeling up to going on a decent walk today, went around the block very slowly yesterday. Overall recovery is harder than I expected but still not too bad.
Just be careful eating beef it’s very hard to digest because now the liver can’t put the bile in your gallbladder anymore so it goes into your intestine eating beef or anything fatty it’s not good just a heads up I had my gallbladder out and every time I had a hamburger or a steak it doesn’t digest well and you end up with severe stomach ache good luck with your healing🙏
I had my gallbladder removed on 9/12/22, and it’s now 9/16, And the pain is finally letting up. I had a lot of pain the next night after surgery! But now it’s much better. My biggest problem was because of the pain in my stomach I had trouble going to the bathroom, because I could not “push” so I had to take MiraLAX and magnesium. So unfortunately I was not really able to take the oxycodone that my doctor gave me. oxycodone is great stuff for pain. Tylenol and ibuprofen do absolutely nothing for pain for me so I just didn’t take anything. I did not have shoulder pain but I had a lot of pain at the incision site. I just had one incision in and slightly above my belly button.
Had mine removed on the 19 August pain is minimal but the shoulder pain is not child play at least mine is gone now. Only feeling bloated and a swollen tummy.
Hi there, plz can you tell me how are you doing now? As I have stones in my gall bladder and it needs to be removed. I'm very anxious 😟 any insight will be helpful
@@larissawang7050 It's been 14 days since surgery and I am doing very well, the 1st week was a little challenging however I made it through. Saw my family doctor yesterday and she said all is healing up nicely. Larissa if they suggest surgery don't be afraid. You are asleep through it all and then go home to recuperate. Not too much of a change for me. But wish you no pain from your stones.
Once you eat something a couple a days You will go poop! I lost 11 pounds in 2 weeks time. It’s been 2 months and I changing my diet: ground turkey breast patties, tilapia, chicken breast strips. Good luck!👍
the Jello was typical Hospital food. I was bloated, but today waist is at a good 32 inches. at 77 and 5-10" this is good. but the first week had a lot of uncertainty.
When were you able to take a shower and what temperature? How long would you say the recovery process is until you felt 100% back to your normal routine? I'm getting mine taken out in a month.
I hate feeling dirty, so I think I showered the next day. If not, then for sure two days after. If you don't feel like you can, then don't. I would say by two weeks I felt normal. I have three kids, so I didn't have the luxury of of taking the time "off" that I probably should had. I had zero complications though and recovered quickly.
Just had mine Aug 15th. The surgery was no problem. First 2 days of recovery were more painful than I expected due to gas pain. I’m glad I got some medicine for gas ahead of time. I’m on day 4 and feel up for a decent walk, maybe 1/4 mile. You got this!
Did you ask if it was normal to get so winded and out of breath after? I've seen a few videos & most people lose their breath by simply talking or getting up.
Im having mine removed on June 30th its been a really weird experience the past month everything started on May 14th where I started experiencing really bad back pain near the middle of my back so we went to urgent care got there that night around 830 cst that night and didn't get home till 1230 the next morning didn't get seen by the Dr but I found out I had a major UTI goin on then a few days later that's when the pain in my right side started so they recommended that I went and got an ultrasound and xray June 2nd is when I found out I had gallstones so we went on June 8th to talk about a potential surgery
We had a very similar experience. I didn’t have much back pain though. I really thought I had crazy heartburn. Once it’s out, you won’t have to worry about it again!
