Hi. I find your videos extremely helpful. I've been asking myself why I keep failing such "easy" tests. Now it makes sense. I was not consistent with the sequence of my answers. Thank you so much for this. Very insightful.
Good Video with good content to rethink about yourself and restructure your answers after knowing which competencies they are looking for in you after understanding the hidden and incomplete sets of questions...thank you your effort in making such meaningful videos
Arun Sir, Thank you for making the great videos on Gallup! I have a question, is there any time limit to answer a specific question? Is it ok for me, to think in front of them and then answer and not being spontaneous?
Sandeep , there is no time limit to answer the question, however the more time you will take , the chances are you would try to make it up , your responses.... So the best way is to speak up instantly - that's comes as being honest and authentic
Ya , you can skip the questions if you are not too sure about it ... but don't skip often and more , as it will be taken as negative marking on the no. Of questions attempted...
Well that’s a skill you have to develop ! That’s what I teach but it also comes with practice …. So keep sharpening your skills … bcoz opportunity meets the prepared …..
thanks for this information this was really helpfull for me to understand clear the strucuture of Gallup & what is the final result Gallup is looking for. thank you for your time you invest to make this video
Hello sir, thanks a lot for these videos. I have a question: You clearly told in your previous video not to use 'if, but, however'. However, you have used these words sometimes when giving your answers. Did you mean that we should not negate our own answer or narrate an ideal/hypothetical situation, instead we should always answer a real-life incident? Or is it absolutely not recommended to use these words?
Good observation Sandeep ... well the mention of not to use " If , But , However " is linked to Gallup only ... Bcoz in Gallup , whenever you willbuse these three words , you will usually add something as hypothetical to justify ... and that's where your answer may not go in line of gallup method .... Reason .. They want to know what actually happened and not what could have been a scenario .... hope u got some clarity on it
One more question that came to my mind while watching this video, about questions related to rating like "How organized you're in a scale from 1-10"? Should i simply answer 9 or 10? or giving them my own examples as a supporting/convincing evidence as to how i organize my work at office?
@@ArunThukral Thanks Mr Thukral. Your suggestion are quite important specially for those like me are not native English speakers. So, it helps us to be prepared ahead the time for answering
