Just after midnight Bakersfield Fire Department & Kern County Fire Department dispatched to the 3100 block of Taft Highway for reports of a tire shop on fire the Galvan Tire Inc
The first engine arrived on the scene and advised 100ft flames from a large stack of Tires outside the building
Other engines & trucks arrived on the scene to assist with the fire
Engine 47 used the deck gun to fight the fire
The Owners were on the scene of the incident
No injuries were reported
The cause of the incident is under investigation at this time
