Galveston Police Office to the Rescue, helps free Baby Heron Trapped in a Fishing Line 

This baby heron had been running up and down the pier all night while we were catching bait. Right as a police car was driving through the park, the heron started screeching. It had managed to get entagled in some fishing line hanging out of the used line receptacle. I flagged the officer down and he was nice enough to help me untangle the bird and release it. I was grateful that he was able to stop and help tag team the bird since he had gloves and I did not!
