To take nothing away from Galway, they were absolutely immense in the 2nd half. Dublin shot selection was poor. Dublin got what we deserved. Well done to Galway

Dublin from 2015-20 where the greatest team to ever grace a Gaelic football pitch, I think Mayo already started the beginning of the end for that dynasty in 2021, Dublin are always going to be one of the best I think but Galway have shown that the glory years of the 2010s are over for Dublin, up the Tribesmen anyway

So surprised to see Galway doing so well this year, I'm not saying we'll take Sam home but beating Dublin is never what I had expected this year, hope something comes of it but I'm pleasantly surprised nonetheless
Football nowadays has been completely destroyed from the beautiful game it used to be. Most games are so hard to watch just so much negative play just so defensive absolutely terrible ! And to top it off the GAA are charging a fortune to watch it .
That's the way they are capable of playing on any given Sunday, but they don't do it....that's whats frustrating....take your points from the 40 yard line on in....stop trying to hand pass into the small square....Congrats all the same, go all the way Now! All the theories on how to make football better and the most obvious one would be GAA HQ slipping something in Dublin Kerry players breakfast roll on morning of big games , excitement comes from possibilities. Teams need to dream

@jimmeed121 Galway hadn't beaten Dublin in the Championship since 1934. Also, Dublin were the defending All Ireland champions and Galway knocked them out for this year. Those are 2 very solid reasons for celebrating.That clear it up for you?
That's because its become like soccer was a few years ago where teams are just parking the bus without the ball and the other team are handfasting backwards and sideways for most of the game.. Its so shite to watch id rather watch paint dry
Con should of slipped the ball into the unmarked man in the D. Would of been any easier score. Felt the reff should of played another minute also. Play had stopped for a minute of added on time. Fairplay Galway we're better team second half.
Cluxton, McCarthy, Mannion, McCaffrey, Fitzsimons I expect will retire from the county scene and will continue to play club football. Did Dessie get it wrong by not keeping a strong bench until the second half ? congrats to galway it's time to see a new team go and win the Sam Maguire. In its current state I will gladly watch the euros over any inter County gaelic, dubs fan all my life but I didn't even watch yesterday's game I watched Switzerland beat Italy instead
