When it comes to time in the Gambia, you really need to be patient. If they tell u they'll be there at 9 am know that they'll be there at 10 or 10:30 or even 11 sometimes. Even in authority level time is still a big problem
I appreciate the balance you give to your videos by giving us an honest and undiluted account (the good, bad and ugly) of your first hand experience in Gambia. I must say that your channel is the most intellectual of all the channels with Gambia as their subject matter. Thank you.
I felt what my husband used to call one of my "episodes " coming on when you talked about the lack of sense of/ respect for time. If you can't be there say you can't be there. You're just teaching people not to trust you, AND I got thangs to do!🏃♀️ Do not play with MY TIME. 🤺
MaashaAllah sis you’re glowing We missed you We love The Gambia but if you get used to Sverige or anywhere other than African then it can be challenging 😥 Men välkommen tillbaka.
Assalamu aleykum fam! Aww thank yooou, I even feel much better and different as you can see lol! Exactly, there can be conflicts but nothing we can't overcome in shaa Allah ! Tack sååå mycket! ❤
Assalamu alaykum I hope you are ok and your family, I will like to ask you one thing, I'm living in UK and I want come a live in Gambia I have 2 children one is 5 year and other is 2 year and also I'm pregnant, so I don't know if is safe for me to move in Gambia will pregnant?
Wa aleykum salam wa rahmatolah sis! Oh, how lovely - I hope you and your family really love being in The Gambia just as much as I do! To be honest, I would recommend you to give birth where you currently are and wait a while longer for the baby and then go/move to Gambia. The health care system is unfortunately faulty, and I wish it wasn't. I wish I could just tell you "yeah sure - go for it" But I need to give genuin and real advise. I wouldn't want to deliver in the Gambia unfortunately.
I think you are getting comfortable with the trappings of western world. Not a bad thing but the pull between both worlds will get intense by the year. So sad you are abandoning you tube channel
Well after being born here and living here almost all my life - you can't really escape all of the "trappings". Although what I was talking about in the video are not what I would call trappings, you can always adjust and adapt 😁 And no, I'm not abondoning my youtube channel 😋
Funny question - I must say. My uncle once told me he used to have a monkey as a pet actually lol but this was in his younger days. At this day and age, I haven't seen it lol. There are monkeys walking freely in some places though like Cocoa Ocean Resort Hotel lol
