Africa is were it is today, because it has only those types of leaders... Like you guys treat them like some sort of heroes because they have basic speeches in UN, meanwhile ignore that this is the guy who took power trough a coup promising that he will enable elections soon, then went to rule it as an autocrat for over 20 years, destroying opposition, protestors and citizens with brutality, and treated the country's budget as his own back account, looting a ridiculous amount of money, some estimating that he stole as much as 1 billion over the course of 20 years.
