What do you think about a C/R on the flop for the K7 hand? 50% of cards will drop you to second pair along with a potential flush draw completing.

I thought my starting stack was $900 but it was actually 800$. I had put 900$ in that graphic with a 90$ loss. When I wrote down all the hands and followed my chip stack, I realized something was off. I went back to my starting stack clip and realized I was only in for 800$. I forgot to change that text.

Ya be careful: high stakes is alluring but the swings are huge, so the bankroll requirements are much higher. THere is nothing wrong with grinding small stakes, and it builds discipline. People fall in love with bluffing and action, don't. Fall in love with profit and sound management.

Totally agree, nothing wrong with grinding out the lower stakes where the players aren't as good, the variance will be lower because you have such easy decisions all the time

The one thing that's really starting to bother me about a lot of these poker bloggers is when they talk about having a backdoor flush draw. It's a 4% chance of that coming so it shouldn't even be considered an option yet all these bloggers keep saying it. Backdoor straight draw is even worse. That's only 1%.

I agree. The odds are dreadful. On the other hand, it’s a good habit to assess all the possible hands and their odds before acting. Calling it back door is just lazy shorthand.

I mean picking up a flush draw on the turn improves your equity a lot though. There is in fact betting that happens between the flop and the river and if you have fold equity, the draw is that much more powerful

@@TheTroy8 OK let me repeat this....you have a 4% chance of hitting a runner runner flush....that shouldn't even be considered an option especially if you brick the flop and someone bets
