@@goatreviews LOL, nah. My Dad has one of those watches, and provided you have the screwdriver for it, it will last more than your lifetime, with maybe 3? battery changes? Maybe more if modern medicine takes the direction of nano particles delivering targeted medication... Either way, I'm more than familiar with the watch, that's why the comment. I like them too.

In my GameBoy (not Color) I use the EZ-Flash Junior and it is faster than the one shown in the video. The battery works but runs out very quickly, I don't change it anymore. Nice review, shame about the display, wanted to see the completed work.

Nice! It’s awesome that the EZ-Flash Junior is compatible with Game Boy and Game Boy Color 👌 Thanks for sharing your experience with it regarding speed, and battery life. I noticed with this GB-Pro+ that it erases and writes the smaller GB games quickly, but it’s the larger GBC games that tend to slow it down. Thanks Fratellini! 🙏 Not to worry my friend, I’ll be sure to record an update on the display 😉

Hello, my brother. My father is an old man, 83 years old. Is there a defect or problem that he buys himself a wristwatch and wears it like a digital watch, or does he choose an Apple watch, knowing that he uses an iPhone, or do digital and classic watches seem better to him?

Hey brother! 👋 Without knowing your dad personally, I’ll go off my personal experience. My dad (younger than 83) was resistant to upgrading to a smartphone, and isn’t familiar with all its functionality. In my opinion, an Apple Watch would overwhelm him, and its features would be underused. To me, it seems wasteful to use an Apple Watch just to tell the time. I would recommend a ‘digital and classic’ watch as you have put it. It will be easier for your dad to understand. He can just wear it, with no maintenance, no need to charge it every night like an Apple Watch. Some Casio Watch batteries last 10 years 😁 They’re also substantially more affordable than Apple Watches! 👌 I hope this helps! 🙏

Rather unfortunate for a faulty screen to arrive 😢. Nice chameleon shell and buttons though! Do you also plan on returning the rom cart? The faulty rtc and the melted shell is concerning 😅

Thanks Gigachad! 🙏 The display might not be faulty after all - I have one more test to do and will provide an update. 🤞 Nah I don’t plan on returning the cartridge, for the price it’s OK, I’ll still get use out of it 👌 The wait times could be annoying, but hopefully I’ll be focussing on completing one game at a time, so it won’t need to erase and write a new ROM each time I boot 😁

Good question, Nfemotions 👌 I'm sure there are people who sell pre-built systems (using original gameboy hardware that they modded), but it can be quite pricey to enlist their services. I have seen pre-built GBA's on eBay before!

It was indeed - but there still may be hope for it! I’ve one other thing to try before sending it back. 🤞 Yep, I was wearing the gorgeous Gold Casio A500W at the time of recording this one! Not to worry, I didn’t cheat on the WS-1700H (which I’ve now finished reviewing, and modded too! 😉) That’s an awesome video idea - Thank you so much for sharing this Paul! 👌

Most likely reason B is select and A is back, most Japanese and such games use, for example on the PS X is back and O is select. it's Backward to what we are use to. Bugger about the Screen, Cool vid tho
