I have one question , on other videos I have seen that people , after using the white vinaigre, put the contact inside a Niquel solutions with an Anode . I have noticed that you are not doing that on your video . Could you tell me why ? Thanks a lot in advance I am interested to do this repair on my gameboy but I do not have the anode and niquel solutions that's why I am asking.
I have a similar black spot on the back of the board from what I’m assuming is battery corrosion, anything to be done about it? I currently have some deoxit on the problem area overnight to see if it will lift any of it off
I am sure this works for my old Game Gear. I am gifting it to my son for his 8th birthday. Old tech unfortunately included old batteries too. I wish I had taken them out. Oh well. It will be good to have him game without the internet and extra apps. I don’t want him dealing with all that yet.
