Agree with this one, I use to have a wild imagination growing up that it took years for someone to make what I had thought of in the early 90s... and now I've lost that imagination due to family work life balance. But with this simple gamemaker avaliable maybe something can come back to me, if not I know my kids will.. They're highly creative. Being a kid growing up: all the time to think of new ideas but no money or tech to push it Being an adult grown up: now all the money and tech to push but no time.

Now you have youtube and all its free tutorials, websites like Udemy, Cubebrush etc. Websites dedicated to helping you mentors online. Discord channels that make it easy to put a small team together or join a game jam. You really have it easier now than anyone has ever before. I'm saying this as someone with about 17 years industry exp who is also involved in hiring. Show the people interviewing you that you're passionate, Show them that even if you dont get this job you're going to keep on learning and creating. People who demonstrate continued growth are gold. Good luck, You can do it.

Even though the mechanics have lived on through to the second game, the overall feel of the first one was just so untouchable, that even an improved game isn’t better, if that makes sense of course. Just more soul in it that sadly is lost in the second game

It's closer to the programming mode in Nintendo Labo, and the only reason that was so flexible was because you could create any controller you could physically think of.

There's no way the switch could do anything close to that sadly. There's gonna be a thermo-type thing in use, there's only so much memory that the user can use, and the Switch won't be able to handle giving the user too much freedom with that at all.

@@dairhat click the link in the description, you're able to share levels between friends, but theres no mention of being able to online like in mario maker. it would be a pretty important part of the game, so i doubt that there wouldn't even be a mention of it
