I saw your RU-vid short about this product and commented about you. Not putting them on so I can see how they looked. You commented on my comment to go to this video. And you still did not wear them. So how am I supposed to see how they look?
A few months ago, advertising for the Status Audio Between 3ANC started popping up on my social media feeds. Naturally, I dismissed it because I get that type of advertising all the time. But then I came across your review and decided to give them a second look. One of things that I like about your reviews is that you strike me as a dude who appreciates music. I don’t mean cast shade on anybody, but some reviewers seem to be more interested in the equipment than they are the music. Since I was in the market for a pair of wireless IEMs anyway, I took a shot and ordered a pair. They arrived in the mail today. I am completely blown away. You can hear and feel the difference in the sound. Excellent resolution and good separation. Not much sound stage but the resolution and the separation more than adequately make up for it. Thank you.
You're absolutely correct. I don't approach reviews from a technical/scientific perspective. I just love music and I love products that can provide me with a good listening experience.
*Follow up comment:* 0:32 I initially purchased the *Status Between Pro* and was truly impressed with the sound quality. Then, approximately 6 or 7 weeks later _Status Audio_ released the *3ANC.* Needless to say, I was a bit annoyed, having _just_ purchased the previous model. But that didn't stop me from saving up for the *3ANC.* I'm a stickler for sound. If it didn't have LDAC or LDHC I generally avoided it. Sadly, I haven't had the opportunity to try the _Qualcomm® aptX™ Lossless._ But I digress. . . Much to my surprise, I found the sound quality of the *Status Between Pro,* and subsequently the *3ANC* in particular, to meet, _and perhaps even exceed,_ the sound quality of those which utilize the lossless codecs. At the time of this follow up comment, I've only had the *3ANC* for about 3 days, but I have been more than satisfied! 🎉 I truly hope you are well.🙋🏼♂️

I was one of those guys with the bad vibes about the company and customer service. That was back in the Between Pro days. Things got worked out and eventually became a Fanboy for the Between Pros thanks to an independent EQ app. 3ANC hits the market and I had to try them. Sadly, my order was lost in the mail. Contacted customer service and within two days a new pair were at my doorstep. Thank you Status Audio for your much improved customer service! 3ANC’s are a dream come true! My new number ones! And now with an App that features a customizable EQ that makes even Apple Music and the others sound so much better(still not a fan of Streaming Services!). Thanks to my 3ANC’s a few new members have been added to my earbud Junk Drawer!
I watched your review and a few others and decided to go for the Status Between ANC, a brand I hadn't heard of until recently. I've had these for a few days and absolutely loving them. Easily the best wireless earbuds I've ever had for audio quality, ever (and I've had quite a few). Im finding these a very good fit and very comfortable for me. The long battery life is a big plus. I'm not using these in situations where ANC and transparency are that important but they seem decent for those as well. And it's great having something that doesn't look like yet another apple earpod design or a button in your ear!

It's honestly incredible. Im looking to buy new earbuds as my xm4's battery gave out in both buds after about a year. Very disappointing. Personally, I don't mind the aesthetics of these headphones. They have a pretty unique design and aren't buttons, which I personally find appealing. As far as the noise testing you did, the clarity in a quiet space was better in the other headphones, but sounded better in a simulated crowd space. Overall, I'm pretty excited about my purchase, seeing such positive reviews!
@ELJefeReviews oh, man! I got these earbuds yesterday, and I'm already addicted! I'm hearing things in some songs that I've never noticed before, like you're in the studio listening to the artist record the original vocals and instruments. It's crazy how crisp these are!

I have the original between pro and love them and haven’t had issues. However, I also have earfun free pro and had a set go out after a few months. A simple email to customer service explaining the situation and they had a new set on the way. I will always recommend earfun because of that.
I just bought the OG Between Pro to try the fit and sound. Totally enjoying them, but now torn between returning them and the 1more EVO (app quirks are becoming a headache) to bump up to these. Too many solid options and decisions decisions decisions Bro 😂😂😂

I just bought a pair of these (Bone color, Onyx/Black is too status quo for me, no pun intended) and they are fantastic. The triple drivers are no joke. They're amazing. I do have 2 issues though. 1, the noise canceling is not good enough without listening to music. There's obviously a big difference between transparency and ANC but i feel the ANC should be better. Its far from "industry leading". And 2, though they are loud, on my phone (possibly a Bluetooth thing because my phone is Bluetooth 5.0 and the buds are 5.2), the frequency is a little jumpy. I have to put it 4 volume clicks past the default volume. If i subtract by one click a lot of the power and overall sound gets a bit lost. And i fear that it may damage my hearing.
If you're on android try this for connection and volume issues. Sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't but it's worth a shot: 1. Enable Developer Options. I suggest looking on google for how to do this on your specific device. 2. Open Developer Options. 3. Scroll down to Bluetooth AVRCP Version and set it to 'AVRCP 1.6'. 4. Set Bluetooth MAP Version to 'MAP 1.4'.

Sorry I missed it _live._ Just wanted to say, I have the *Between Pro* (non-ANC), and just as you said up-front, they stack up against my LDAC supported earbuds (which surprised the heck out if me). They are the only ones I've experienced that sound that good without LDAC. I really enjoy them. 😎👍 *EDIT:* My earbuds would slip and require _occasional_ adjusting, and I thought it to be a normal amount. Then after about 6 months I tried a smaller tip and that issue went away.
For the costs of them… sound great… battery life !!!!! If you want good sound, battery. That need space,,, hence you get the between pro, 3 anc… your going to complain about the shape of them …. Some people are soooo beat….

Nice review! Subscribed!! Although I initially preferred the Original Between Pro EQ setting on the app, I actually like the Status Audiophile setting more now. The reason being I felt the Original had a bit too much sibilance in the treble, and it was distracting. The Audiophile one is clearer to me, and to make up for the lack of bass, I simply increased the bass in my Poweramp EQ (PEQ) app to compensate as well as some other tweaks (anyone interested can reply here and I'll give you all the settings). You can do the same thing in the Status app itself too (for the bass, just focus on the 1st 3 bars in the custom EQ on the app). **Update: After further review, I decided to actually revert BACK to the Original Between Pro EQ setting. But only after I tweaked the sibilance-related EQ bars on my PEQ custom EQ setup, which entailed lowering the 4K and 8K bars down some so to eliminate the sibilance issue. The thing was I'd realized that the bass on the OBP setting simply sounded TOO good, and even my PEQ custom EQ for the Status Audiophile setting couldn't quite match it.** I definitely agree that the sound quality on these is so phenomenal that the codec thing doesn't really matter anymore. They even rival my $350 Open-back HifiMan Sundara OVER-EAR headphones! So crazy!!

Excellent review!! I just got these the other day. Sad story : I lost my Nuratrue Pro a day before they arrived. My heart is hurt. Wanted to badly to compare the two. If the sound experience (quality) of the Nuratrue Pro is a 100 then what score do you give the status between pro 3anc?

1. A hi-res codec like LDAC or aptX lossless can add more resolution to the sound when combined with quality source audio. I am thinking about getting high end earphones, but am stuck between the 3ANC and Bose - QuietComfort Earbuds II True Wireless. Which surprisingly, are at the same price point, right now. What would your recommendation be, between those two??

Hey, nice review. I currently own the between pro earbuds (still happy with them), but i am thinking of an upgrade. What is the current leader in the market based only on the audio quality ? I was considering some of these, what would you go for: Nura Pro (out of curiosity about the aptx lossless) Beoplay ex Status 3anc Sondoce liberty 3
I backed the indigogo project of the between pro. Had an issue with the charging case and they sent me a new pair. Sadly, In the new pair the connection was very bad- only one earbud worked each time, the music kept paying when the case was closed. There were also some white noise coming from the earbuds constently. I Hope they fixed it in their newer modle. Did anyone else had these issues?

can you please put the name of the Spanish song you mentioned for testing the treble? I have both the 1 plus pro 2 and the 3ANC and want to listen to some songs before I make a decision. I can't quite get a good fit with the 3ANC but so far love the sound. the 1Plus has a good fit, so that may be where I make my decision on which one to keep.

When a device or earbuds say they are Bluetooth 5.2, and neither of them is required to meet all of the 5.2 standards, how do you make sure they both support the same codecs? I listen to my headphones and earbuds all day from like 9 AM to like for 11:12 at night so yeah I need more than 5. Hours a lot more I need at least ten
I have the first batch of between pro that I got from kickstarter. They have so much problems. 1 side of the earbuds always won’t take charge. No matter what I try. Status send a new one and same issue. Anyone got the same issue? Hopefully they massively improve that problem on the between 3
Does transparency/ambient mode allow you to continue to listen to your music or media at the same time? In my work environment I need to hear my surroundings but also want to listen to my music.

I love these. It’s a great upgrade over the Between Pro with the addition of ANC and transparency. I prefer the Original BP eq setting. To me, it sounds clearer/cleaner to me than the other two presets. That being said, I still prefer my AirPods Pro 2 for watching videos and podcasts. I’m sure I could fix that in the eq settings in the app but I can’t be bothered, haha.
What is the best earbuds for calls? I long haul and my rig can put out some decibels. Was wanting to step away from the headset if there is some earbuds that can compete with calling.

Yes. But it’s not a huge difference since it’s the same triple driver setup with similar tuning. If you don’t need anc, transparency, multipoint or app support, then I would save a few bucks and get the OG version.
I have not experienced this. I would contact Status Audio as soon as possible for assistance. Someone in these comments also mentioned they now have a discord server for customers.
I have one simple question! Are these significantly louder than all the other wireless earbuds out there? I've tried dozens of them after countless reviews overhyped their respective loud volume levels, only to be disappointed. I currently have the tozo golden x1, liberty 4 NC, galaxy buds 2 pro, buds fe, and others and none are loud at all. Please advise.
I've measured 3 of the 4 you mentioned at above 110db-120db in max volume. That is very loud. Enough to cause permanent hearing damage. If those aren't loud enough for you, I don't what to tell you. I recommend sticking with WIRED IEMs paired with a portable DAC that can amplify volume to your needs.

You particularly made a big deal about how loud they are. But now you're saying that 3 out of the 4 I mentioned produced the same decibel levels. So, then the status are no louder than the general rest of the high end true wireless earbuds on the market? That's what I was referring to about various reviewer'sover the top claims of loudness.

Most ANC earbuds i used, they switch to ANC mode while on a call if the earbuds are set in transparency mode, sadly these earbuds don't, thy stay on transparency mode even if you answer a call. I am doing something wrong ?
3ANC's have cured my BT Earbud Addiction! Forget all the others! 3 drivers and an EQ?... It's like being in "The Sweet Spot" at every concert I have ever attended. I'm a "Bass Head"! I like to hear the pluck of the Bass String. Not a thump or humm! These Deliver! Not a fan of Noise Cancellation. I think you loose sound qulity when activated. The key is the ear tips! The tips shipped are too thin. They do not seal well.Try "AZLA SednaEarfit MAX for TWS"!...

Love the idea of the status ones I ordered the ANC ones but I’ll tell you what, the company itself needs some serious help in the shipping and customer service department. It’s all automated responses and I was told they shipped FedEx on a Sunday and I payed for 2 day shipping. Here we are on a Friday and according to FedEx they were just now dropped off and not expected to deliver till Monday. These buds better be the absolute BOMB (in a good way) otherwise I’m going to leave a pretty nasty review. The only thing holding me back currently is the fact that I need to hold them, see them and hear them before I let my patience get the best of me. I’m coming from the AirPod pro 2s and Sony so there’s a lot of hype they have to live up to. I have my fingers crossed because everything I’ve read makes sense and that’s why I ordered. I hope they live up to my expectations.
@@ELJefeReviews bought oneplus pro 2 at your recommendation. one problem is EQ SHIFT. the other bigger problem that it sucks for calls. even oneplus midrange buds used to have clear calls but this one sucks. 💔
The earbuds are great have the original between pros but their customer service is terrible. There is no way or phone number to call them on and whether ur email them or chat with them on the messenger it takes many days sometimes weeks for them to get back to you
