I'm pleased to announce that I now know you two apart. Kendra seems more no nonsense and Kelsey seems more laid back. Granted I do not know yall. Love the videos. Love how you two set your own trends vs doing what other YT 'ers do. Keep shinning!!
I agree with the brown lip liner. MAC Chestnut has been my fav for years. But i will say when I'm wearing my Ruby Woo I have to use my Ruby Woo lip liner with it if I'm not doing an Ombre lip with red.
The problem is baking will dry out your under eye area no matter the amount of spray you'll use and it might get dryer later on in life. I have oily skin and I only soft set my foundation/concealer
A lip liner that I’ve never her you two talk about is Bittersweet by Mac. I usually don’t comment, but I’ve seen enough of your makeup videos that I know you love Chestnut, but you’ve mentioned it’s not as creamy as other lip liners. Try the Bittersweet one. The color is just as rich, but it’s very creamy and glides on. I learned about this one years ago from another youtuber.
Nyesha Harris honestly from watching RU-vid videos and trying their recommendations. The GlamTwins just posted a video not too long ago of the best lip combos for brown skin girls, you should watch it!
Yes, I'm here for it. I have 2 daughters so I need all the tips I can get. I know NOTHING about makeup lol. You guys are beautiful inside and out. Best wishes One last thing........... please do a follow-up video on getting your tattoo removed and laser hair removal. I'm just wondering if it worked.........I was told it wouldn't work for me due to the pigment of my skin.
I will definitely be trying the pre bake method and not using a primer before my makeup. I also have very oily skin, so I’m excited to see if those tips work out.
We need a face shaving video lol cause if I don’t have to pay for it, I’m not haha. And thank you for clarifying the fact that hair doesn’t grow back thicker 🙄
beau knows88 I think it’s best for me to have a VISUAL on how SHE does it and see what products she may have used before starting the process and for aftercare...
You ladies look beautiful!! I've been shaving my face for years and can definitely tell the difference in my makeup. Kendra that eyebrow is givin me the business honey!! Yassss!!!
This video was right on time 🙌🏾 I recently discovered that my moisturizer was causing my oiliness. So now I just wash my face tone and go straight to my foundation. Still be a little oily but not as much as before. Kelsey I’m going to use your pre and post baking tip and see if that would help more. Thanks for the tips!
I have been waaaaaaaaaaiiiitttiinnngggg for this! I know it’s 2020 but it’s a lot that people assume you know when applying makeup but we don’t. Thanks for breaking it down. You ladies mentioned the chestnut lip pencil by mac a while ago and I’ve been using it ever since. PLEASE make more videos like this. Love from VA 💙
Thanks for the tips! I definitely want to try pre baking because my oils come through and I don’t feel as flawless as I did when I left the house. Lol.
I never use face primer for the reasons ya'll stated. I wondered if dermaplaning was a game changer. Like Kelsey, I'll go to the dermatologist. Keep up the good work ladies. Gorgeous!!🤩🤩
Great tips ladies and I definitely think most primers don’t work cause I’ve accidentally done my makeup without primer and my skin was fine since I bake so I’m saving money by not buying any. Kendra your makeup and hair looks amazing!!!
Yessss! Thank you for saying primer is not necessary. I’m very oily summer and winter. I tried using a matifying primer and I kept breaking out. It took about a month before I realized it was the primer. I haven’t used one in years. I recently discovered Cetaphil has an oil absorbing face wash and moisturizer. It works great! I still get a little oily late in the day but not nearly as bad as I used to. I keep a pack of Clean and Clear oil absorbing sheets in my purse. I do a quick dab here and there and my makeup is just like new.
Hi ladies! Love you both and I’ve been loving the matching/coordinating outfits lately! I thought I was super early until I saw all of the comments, but I’m early enough right??
Hey Beauties😍, I do pre-bake and post bake I get very oily 😉 I don't shave cause Im afraid it grows back thicker👎🏾 I will try the brown lip liner👍🏾😉 Thanks for the review 💯👍🏾Oh! I been stop using primer , I do cleanse, hydrate and moisturize 💯👍🏾
I'm oily and I DON'T use primer but I do use a light turmeric oil, pressed powder, yellow powder or mineral veil then a matte setting spray😍. I'm going to bake to see the difference. Thanks queens😍
Brown lip liner is a huge staple in my makeup routine!! Only time I won't use one is when I wear a bold color like red or purple . Other than that, I have one on deck at all times I've been shaving my face for years bc I had to inherit the hairy gene and mine used to be super coarse 😅 I've since invested in laser hair removal and it's helped me a ton👌🏾 I still do shave , but maybe like every 2-3 months now since the hair growth slowed tremendously after laser and I use a electric hair removal tool (I use the razore on my brows only)
Great idea...let me get one of those electric hair removal...I did laser hair removal on pubic area, chin and chest area did one full year of sessions...just seeing the hair growing back like baby hairs so I dont wanna shave and get ingrown
Vellus hair is also called lanuga hair. Babies have a lot when first born. Learned this in cosmetology school, anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology.
I haven't used a primer in YEARS. YEARS! It's pointless and just looks cakey. I never bake. And I NEVER use a setting spray. I'm not into heavy makeup or labor intensive processes. Easy glam. That's me.
Kendraaaa😍 do you mind telling me what foundation and shade you’re using? I’m similar in complexion and still having the hardest time matching my face to my chest but as always you seem to nail it ✨
Kendra love your hair like this, beautiful! Love the lippie Kelsey! 😍💟I always use brown lip liner too. I'm going to try that pre bake tip. Thanks for the tips ladies!!! 😘💕💕💕
I live in the caribbean, which as you know,is a very humid environment And I do not bake.I just apply powder, before and after, without baking. And it works perfectly still.’m in my forties, and baking will age me considerably.
Love your videos! I can vouch for "shaving your face ". I'm not much of a makeup person, but it makes all the difference in the look and feel of my skin/bare face, and my products absorbing better.
I don’t wear a brightening under eye concealer for my everyday look. I use a lighter powder ( either pressed or loose) and let it bake then swipe it way with my a face powder. I get the same brightening effect
