🏈We know we won’t be watching our Vikes in the Super Bowl this year (next year guys), but we’ll definitely be watching with something tasty!! #SKOL 💜💛 Hawaiian Rolls are extremely versatile making them a popular choice for our game day snack! Today we’re making Pizza Slider - just add your favorite pizza toppings when you try it!!
Supplies:
Sandwiches:
King’s Hawaiian Rolls
Pizza sauce
Shredded Mozzarella cheese (about 2 cups)
Pizza toppings (anything you want!)
Drizzle:
½ cup butter
¾ teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 teaspoons oregano
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley (approximate)
2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Carefully slice Hawaiian Rolls in half. Set tops of rolls aside and spray pan. Place bottom of rolls into pan.
3. Add pizza sauce to bottom of rolls.
4. Sprinkle approximately 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese onto sauce.
5. Add favorite pizza toppings.
6. Top with approximately 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
7. Add tops of rolls to pizza sliders. Set aside.
8. Make drizzle: Melt butter and then add in seasonings (listed above), chopped parsley, and 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese.
9. Use spoon to add drizzle to tops of rolls (try to cover entire top of each roll to prevent it from burning/getting crunchy in the oven. This drizzle is SO GOOD!!!!
10. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for approximately 15 minutes.
11. Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
12. Let cool and enjoy!!
