ELECTRONIC GAME CUBES on ARDUINO or Dice game on ARDUINO, in a case printed on a 3D printer.
Whoever doesn’t have a 3D printer at hand, the case can be made of any materials at hand.
In the last video tutorial, I showed you how to make an electronic cube based on a seven-segment indicator and Arduino Uno controller.
Now I will make two whole cubes, the body of which is stylized in the form of real playing cubes interconnected
the indication of the numbers of the cubes is made in the form of dots of orange LEDs located exactly the same as with real playing cubes. To make electronic playing cubes on arduino, we need 14 LEDs, the same number of resistors with a nominal value of 200 to 470 ohms, two buttons, one with by fixing to turn on the power, the other without fixing, the start button, one pull-up resistor with a value of 5-10 kom, an Arduino controller, you can take any, on an atmega328p chip, nano, uno, pro mini, I chose the cheapest Chinese clone Arduino NANO v.3 also for nutrition troystva need a lithium ion battery, I applied element 18650 and the charge controller with a voltage converter boosting to 5 volts.
With these electronic cubes, you can play various monopolies, managers, turn-based walkers, backgammon and other games.
When you press the start button, the button handler is called in the controller code, the random variables are assigned to the two variables, and the corresponding LEDs turn on.
