SC2.0 is not all that complicated. It just looks like it is. The biggest hangup that gets most people is the Gear Chapter, sometimes just the Gadget section. Admittedly, the Chapter could be laid out a bit better but I'll willingly concede the difficulty of it. Compared to other espionage or modern games, this one is light years ahead of others. ... Additionally, you can turn on or turn off "systems" within the game to make it easier to learn.
Spycraft 2.0 isn't really all that complicated. You must be new to RPG's because my group found this game fairly easy to learn. It's just the basic D20 with a couple of add-ons.
