One of the things I forgot to mention during this is that we're planning a tournament for Fusion Randomizer. cant believe they finally did it. i remember hearing for years how difficult its been to set up a randomizer and all. this community is fantastic and i love getting an entry-level view at the randomizer with this show! really enjoying the run and looking forward to trying out the randomizer myself

If you do play it, I recommend only saving at the start of each sector to prevent having to start over due to accidental softlocks due to lacking an upgrade that'd be required to leave a room

This is really cool. I like that you had to think on the fly of where you COULD go next and how the possibilities change when a new upgrade is acquired (or not). I really enjoyed this.

On the cursed food topic: Eating a pizza while taking a bath, dropping it, watching it sink, picking it up and still eating it because "it was only a little wet"

I have played fusion every year or two since it came out but I still learn a lot from these. Recently I got a repro cart that had the JP hard mode modded in. Good times

To those that are going to try this, be VERY CARRFUL about 3 places: Sector 2 at the first boss, Sector 1 going into Ridley’s area without Wave, and Sector 6 where the SA-X would power bomb. Those places are easy soft locks without the wrong items.

Pineapple, bacon, and pepperoni pizza is the food of the GODS… You want a cursed food combo..? Name a food… I have most likely put ketchup on it, then ate it… I also have tried creating Earthbound’s Delisauce, a condiment that goes good with literally anything edible, to mostly positive results… Just don’t ask what it is comprised of (trade secret)…

Nice runs And for some reason this is the first time I've ever wondered how Samus feels about the SA-X in the end, I wonder if she sees the Baby Metroid in it to some degree, cause the parallels are obvious, the last member of a race Samus actively works to wipe out saving her against a dire foe after struggling to wound it, having initially been brought to a research facility by Samus, albeit in a less intentional way then the Metroid And just as capable of being a scourge upon planets if unleashed

Storyline wise, "Adam" does posit after the Reactor Meltdown emergency that the X's absorbed intelligence from the DNA they've copied and taken for their own may interfere with their otherwise single-minded survival instinct.
